15 days from case received at my local office until correction of date of birth and name. 6 days from correction to approval. Here's the breakdown below;

On the old website - https://egov.uscis.gov,  it says "Case was received at my local office" on 02/27/2018 ( No updates after that)

On the new website - uscis.dhs.gov, it says;

     " We received your case. You do not need to do anything at this time" on 02/28/2018

     " We corrected  your date of birth for your case" and "We corrected your name on your case" on 03/14/2018

     "We approved your case" on 03/20/2018

Yes I think the message about transfer to local office means that your file was sent from storage to your service center whitch is your office , I think that kinda language for us is confusing but nothing to worry about only that our files finally are being  dedusted and processing lol

We received our first email ever, this morning, from USCIS since filing our I-751.

Our (applicant + 2 children) NOA1 date was 21 April 2017 with VSC.

The email simply said:
We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time
We will notify you when your case status changes.
We last took action on our case on February 26, 2018.

Of course, we already saw this status on the USCIS site, but it's good to know they have our email address.

Hoping many of us April '17 filers will see many approvals this week!

You can submit everything online pretty much in PDF or JPEG formats. On the day of the interview you can take the originals.

What about the passport sized photographs? Did they ask for those during the online submission process as well?

I'm sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to make sure I have everything on-hand and ready when I start that application.

Also, should I submit photographs for proof of relationship?

You will have your picture captured at your biometrics. You're not required to submit passport photograph(s).
