Yes we don't have the typical K-1, AoS and removal of conditions. Because after we got our conditional 2 year green card we move to Germany. We live there for 5 years. My husband was moved by the same company to USA on a L-1 visa. After arriving to USA  then we file for AOS.

So its an AOS then not ROC that's totally different.

Shame I thought it was ROC and I was getting excited as my local office is also Pittsburgh.  Even so its quick for AOS, however I think most L1's get interviewed for AOS,, not sure if the same applies for ROC.

I can't beelive it takes 3-5 months total to get the green card and it takes 1 year to remove the conditions on it... :(

** May 29: Traveled with my AP back to my country and came back three weeks after with no problems Click here to ready the report **

DAY 117 - June 29, 2015: Had our interview. Approved on the spot.

DAY 124 - July 6, 2015: Welcome noticed received.

That's so sad.

For some of us it took almost a year to even get the initial green card...see my timeline.  That was due to backlog at my local office though, but still :clock:

12/13/18: File online application

12/15/18: Receive notification for biometrics appointment (no date)

12/31/18: Biometrics

02/25/19: Receive interview letter (April 8 )

04/08/19: Interview, approved!

04/12/19: Oath scheduled for April 26 

04/26/19: Oath Ceremony! 🇺🇸

Those processing times are actually as of Aug 31st, so hopefully when they up date it mid month it will say they are working on late Oct or November filers.  Currently VSC are working around the 11 month mark, some are earlier some later.  And yes hopefully they will move a tad faster, especially California.  

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

I need some advice... My ROC were received by CSC Sept 20th 2016. Now, 13.5 months later I still have no response regarding my case. I need to get infopass this month and I am upset why it takes so long. I thought my case was straightforward and I am worried why it takes longer than usual? I checked the processing times for CSC and as of Aug 31st 2017 it says they are processing cases from July 19th 2016, which means they take cases from 12.5 months ago and my case has been sent longer than that, 13.5 months ago! Unless their online system is not updated well, my case is outside the processing times. The only thing I did was to postpone my fingerprints by 3 weeks later, does this matter?

 

I made a request 30 days that my case is outside the processing times and I received no response although they promised they will reply in 3 weeks.  Now the next step is to go higher up and contact specific service center, which I did... I am very upset and angry at this point. We pay so much money and they do not even bother to reply in the designated time frames.

 

What else is there to do?
