Yes you have to send two forms one for the beneficiary(Immigrant Spouse) form AR-11 which is also available online and Form I-865 send by the U.S citizen spouse. You have to mail the I-865 within 30 days of change of address. If you were unable to send these two forms on time it won't hurt anything unless few years late, just send them as soon as you could, good luck. Regards

Agree with you

Hi

All,

I have filed my I751 case in 2017.

Now i am relocating to another state, will there be any issue if i will change my address while I-751 Pending.

(I have a plan to submit online AR-11 form and also by calling uscis to change my address for my pending I-751 application),

Do my spouse also need to submit I-864 form (Change of address) as well. (Because she is also relocating with me and she was the one who sponsored me for I-130, but now she is not working).

Your comments will be really appreciated.

Yes, you have to submit it

Yes, you have to submit this like what Name O Boy mentioned on his comment. I did this after we moved to avoid any delays or confusion with my address. I submitted it online while My USC husband also submitted a form and they mailed back my husband telling that they received it as well. Regards.

Hello, I just called the USCIS hotline last Monday, Agent said as of September this month the USCIS reviewing the August 2016 filers 😱 every 15th of the month they update the timeline of filers date they reviewed on.

And also last month I called them too, the Agent told me timeline window between 9-11 months to receive an update of the removal of condition status.

God Bless to all of us April filers🙏

Marney😊

Oh wait, so does this mean that the wait time is shorter than what it seems to be right now?? And was the agent talking about CSC or VSC?

I have been fretting about how I'll have to likely get the infopass appointment in May to get an extension and then possibly have to file for naturalization before even getting this ROC approved!

I do hope we all get our approvals by March!

My case is in VSC. Every case is different from each other. Our luck is really depend on the Case reviewer who work on our case. But base in the new regulations timeline 9-11mos. No one stopping us to try or send forms for update status or naturalization. No harm in doing that. But we can only apply N-400 after 3yrs of receiving 10yr gc.

God bless!

Marney😊

What are the requirements for U.S. Citizenship?

The following are the essential requirements for applying for citizenship, a process called naturalization:

  • You must hold a green card for five years and continuously reside in the U.S. (meaning that you live there without leaving for trips of six months or longer),
  • You must be physically present inside the U.S. for at least 30 months before applying
  • You must have lived in the state where you will submit the application for at least three months
  • You need to be reasonably proficient in the English language
  • You need to be familiar with American history, government and society
  • You need to be able to make an Oath of allegiance (There are some exceptions for those whose religion does not allow oathes).

Agree with you. I know it is just 3 years as permanent resident under the K1 route then you can apply for citizenship. Correct me if I'm wrong, but so far, that's what I know as well.

Within 90 days of your two years as conditional permanent resident you apply for removal is conditional status.

Is one one year after removal of condition status you can apply for citizenship.

It's been several decades since I worked for a federal agency doing case work, but I do remember that sometimes we would pick up a case ahead in the queue that had an obvious need for further action by the applicant, similar to an RFE. If the applicant then responded to the action quickly, the entire case got resolved earlier than others. In other words, it might be the case where if you receive an RFE, your case is accelerated as it's in a different queue.

Yes no idea.

We did adjust from a L-1 blanket visa.

Married for 6 years.

Used a law firm organized by my husband employer.

Biometrics appointment and then RFE about not meeting poverty line (incorrect,  anyway we resubmit employment letter, pay stubs, and assents info)

I wonder if they notice the RFE was incorrect before they even got an answer?

Our interview was in Pittsburgh, it was a very good experience.

Good luck everyone!
