My question is...If you they send for RFE...How long after filing is it typically?

Thanks everyone!!!

For applications that are filed at approximately the same date, RFE's are very likely to come at the same time that approvals come for other cases.

That's the way government applications generally work. Cases sit in a queue before some examiner or caseworker picks it up for action. At that point, RFE's, rejections and approvals all come within the same narrow band of dates once the case is fully reviewed by the worker.

Marriage: 2014-02-23 - Colombia    ROC interview/completed: 2018-08-16 - Albuquerque
CR1 started : 2014-06-06           N400 started: 2018-04-24
CR1 completed/POE : 2015-07-13     N400 interview: 2018-08-16 - Albuquerque
ROC started : 2017-04-14 CSC     Oath ceremony: 2018-09-24 – Santa Fe

Thank you! That's understandable. I wanted to see if there is a time span? 3, 6 months after filing? I don't know

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post and please forgive me if someone has asked about this before. I couldn't find information about applying for jobs during this limbo period. I am currently employed but I really really want to get another job asap. When I am going to an interview, what should I say about my residence status? My conditional resident status is extended for only one year? And, it doesn't apply if my application has been terminated..... Who is going to hire me???

You are not in limbo. The card and the extension letter validate your legal right to work for any employer (no clearance) in the united states.

Hello everyone. I sent my package on July, I have received my NOA and fingerprints were done on August 2. I have been checking my case status and one of the reference number shows it was received, but the other one it is not found.

Supposedly it is because there is no updates to show or because the case has not been checked...

Has anyone the same problem?

Thank you!

Hello, don't worry about your expired gc cos systematically your gc is extended for one year and also you are lawfully permanent resident while you are married to an American citizen. Just bring your SSN, marriage certificate, and your birth certificate on the job interview.👍

Your good to go, just be confident and know your rights 👍😊 I know how you feel cos I am same boat with you too.

Goodluck!

Receipt number have 2 sets with a separation of dash.

E.g. EACxxxxxxx-EACxxxxxxx

the second set of receipt is the one that actually have the record of your status.

When you call on USCIS hotline they ask for the second set in the receipt.

So don't  worry your good.👍

God bless!

Hello, I just called the USCIS hotline last Monday, Agent said as of September this month the USCIS reviewing the August 2016 filers 😱 every 15th of the month they update the timeline of filers date they reviewed on.

And also last month I called them too, the Agent told me timeline window between 9-11 months to receive an update of the removal of condition status.

God Bless to all of us April filers🙏

Same here! Finger prints were done July 22nd, but still no updates...From what I read everywhere it's going to be at least 6 months or so before someone looks at your case..But I think every case is different

Hi

All,

I have filed my I751 case in 2017.

Now i am relocating to another state, will there be any issue if i will change my address while I-751 Pending.

(I have a plan to submit online AR-11 form and also by calling uscis to change my address for my pending I-751 application),

Do my spouse also need to submit I-864 form (Change of address) as well. (Because she is also relocating with me and she was the one who sponsored me for I-130, but now she is not working).

Your comments will be really appreciated.

Yes you have to send two forms one for the beneficiary(Immigrant Spouse) form AR-11 which is also available online and Form I-865 send by the U.S citizen spouse. You have to mail the I-865 within 30 days of change of address. If you were unable to send these two forms on time it won't hurt anything unless few years late, just send them as soon as you could, good luck. Regards

If your sponsor move somewhere else than they need to file form I-865. Any change of address from your sponsor would make it a requirement to file I-865.
