Why did you send passport pictures?

Posted

While doing some research some cases they send pp photos so I did to avoid rfe. So when we got our first RFE because our signatures was on the wrong page. They sent back the whole packet and the pp photos they staple in front of the photocopies of passport and green card 👍 And we sent it back to VSC and after a 3 weeks we received NOA for Biometrics appointment 😊

Thanks

Hi, I mailed my i-751 on 04/08/2017 and I didnt receive the NOA yet. The first and only document from USCIS what I received in 05/11/2017 was the I-797C with the biometrics date 05/18/2017. I attended the biometrics appointment, but I dont have the letter with the 1 year extension. What I should do ? My husband and I have plans to travel Internationally in August and my 2 year GC expires 07/25/2017. I dont think i will have the 10 years card until the travel date. Any help is much appreciated.

On your biometrics appointment letter there is a receipt # that you can use to check the status of your application here:

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

My guess is that you application is in process and somehow the NOA either wasn't mailed out or got lost in the mail. With the status info you'll be ready to call them and request that a new letter be mailed to you.
