Hello!

I filed on April 3rd for the removal of conditions and they received it on April 5th. I haven't gotten anything yet, check not cashed, no NOA1 as well. I called on wednesday 5/3 and the lady on the phone said that I am not in the system yet as well and I should give it a few days. Any thoughts on my case? Is it maybe because my GC does not really expire til the 1st of July? I AM STRESSING MYSELF OUT. :/ thank you ladies and gents.

My only questions would be: Are you sure you sent the right fee amount ($680)?  Did you send it to the correct service center?

You didn't send it too early, as your 90 days started 4/2, so you can rule that out.

It seems like the VSC is taking a lot longer at the moment. It is definitely not on the same time frame as the CSC is right now (as per our track sheet). You might have to just give it another week or so and hope for the best.

yes, I have the correct amount fee and set it to Vermont as I am based in CT. I just do not know what to do anymore. Should I maybe send out another packet?

Hello Everyone.

We sent out joint petition to CSC for remove condition on CR1 on the 04/01 and I had already my biometrics taken.

our package includes:

- joint petition and fees

- cover letter

- tax returns filed jointly for 2015/16 and 2016/17, joint account tax transcript dated march 2017.

- statements of our bank joint account (we use this account to pay our bills together) every 3 months statement for the last 2 yrs.

- joint cars insurance policy for 2015/16 and 2016/17.

- Costco joint membership

- joint lease for the first 3 months in the US, then my wife bought a house and so since then we didn't have anymore rent (she explained that in the cover letter), however I included the property tax payments I made for the property in 2017.

- 2 affidativs from a friend of us and her relative.

- pictures of us in different location and occasions during the last 2 yrs, 8 pictures.

- notarized copies of my CR1 front and back, our passports, our drivers licenses, social security cards.

- air ticket showing our names on a trip we did in 2016.

- additional prove of address covering last two years.

do you guys think is enough ?

and also I have a question about processing time, the website shows for CSC average of 6 months and here on the forum it seems even longer but I noticed many ppl don't update their status, a friend of mine tells me that USCIS tends to say 6 months to buy enough time but actually applications to be approved take 3/4 months or in many cases they will submit approval before card expiration date, what you think?

thx for your answers

Your package seems adequate. Other than submitting Last Will & Testaments and Durable Power of Attorneys, you seem to have most of the recommended evidence.

As to your friend's estimates, they seem wildly inaccurate. And is USCIS even saying 6 months? That seems incorrect too. If you go to the June 2016 thread, they have 14 approvals out of 52. Even if you factor in that some members aren't reporting, that would still indicate an average of 9 months and maybe more like 11 or 12 months.

I would hang tight. We probably have a year to wait (longer for VSC). And 3 to 4 months seems like a super longshot.

Seeing as someone that filed April 17th just got their NOA I would call again. After 30 days they should be able to start a report to find it.  I would get another pack ready just in case.  I know this is such a stressful even to go through.
