I finally got some good news over the phone. No cashed check or NOA yet.

Today I called my employer's immigration lawyer to get some advice. I explained that I mailed my package on 4/8 and my green card expires on 5/7 and that although I have the USPS receipt, I have no idea if USCIS will accept or reject my case and that I am running out of time. She advised me to call the USCIS customer service, be very polite, explain that it's been a long time since I sent my papers and that my card is about to expire and ask to speak to their supervisor.

I called around 3pm. The customer service representative agreed to transfer me to her supervisor. My call was transferred to a message saying that the waiting time was 360 mins (!) and my only option was to leave a numberr for them to call me back.

4 hours later a USCIS officer called me and looked up my case status (they can check either with A# number or SSN). He told me that my case was accepted today and provided me with an EAC number. He said the checks will be cashed and I will receive the NOA very soon.

I am sharing my experience for those who are in the same boat with me - waiting for more than 3 weeks with an expiring card.

I will revert with any update on the checks or the NOA.

Just posted my package today! Fingers crossed guys!!

Hi welcome to the group. I saw you post your info on the spreadsheet for April 2017 fillers. But if you are a Vermont filler you might put your info in the wrong sheet. Can you please tell me if you file at California service center or Vermont to make the changes. Thanks !!

I filed in Vermont - I did notice everyone on that sheet was CSC but I couldn't find the VT one! Do you have a link please? I'll update myself in there. Thanks a ton.

First, once you open the sheet, be a little patient. It takes Google a little time to draw out it's full application on the screen. Once it's fully loaded, there should be 2 tabs at the bottom of the screen. One is labeled "CSC" and the other "VSC".  CSC is the default tab. Click on the VSC tab to enter your info. Good luck.
