Hello VJer's,

I sent i751 on April 29th to the CSC and they received it 2 days later.  My wife's conditional GC expires on May 12, 2017.  She has a full time job and we are both nervously waiting for the NOA1 receipt.  Does anyone know of a number we can call to access the receipt number instead of waiting for it in the mail? My wife's employer will accept the receipt number of the NOA.  I feel so stupid for waiting until the last 2 weeks to submit it.  I'm just hoping that my wife wont be fired because of me :(

The only number you can call is (800) 375-5283

Try talk to them nicely about your situation and see if you can talk to a supervisor.

Good luck!

Pkg sent 4/13, received 4/17, check cashed 5/2, NOA1 received 5/4.

In reading over the letter I find it mildly annoying that the only way to check on the case is to enter the application # one receives with the biometrics appointment notification. The reason it's annoying is that we have a mailman who often puts the wrong mail in the wrong box of a large mailbox tree within our neighborhood. So given that there's little time btwn notification and biometrics appointment dates and no time to waste on an errant mailman, it would be nice if USCIS would have a case status check that used a number from the NOA1 instead of the biometrics notification.

Then again, after all this time, I'm not sure why I'm expecting that USCIS would make any of these processes easier.

Hello!

I filed on April 3rd for the removal of conditions and they received it on April 5th. I haven't gotten anything yet, check not cashed, no NOA1 as well. I called on wednesday 5/3 and the lady on the phone said that I am not in the system yet as well and I should give it a few days. Any thoughts on my case? Is it maybe because my GC does not really expire til the 1st of July? I AM STRESSING MYSELF OUT. :/ thank you ladies and gents.
