Hi everyone. It has been a very long time since I posted on this website but it did help me before and I am pretty sure it will not let me down again. So I brought my wife in on an immigrant visa in July 2015 and now they are asking me to provide them with the I-175 to remove the conditions on her green card. I think I have good amount of proof but I still wanted to add the affidavit of support just to keep my mind at ease. One of the proof documents they want is if we had kids. Unfortunately we don't have kids to provide them with a birth certificate with our names on it but my wife is pregnant and I don't know if I can add that in any way for proof. My questions are: How can the people I want to swear on the affidavit write their letter? Like how should the format look like because I have seen so many. Does it have to be notarized? Do I have to send a copy of my ID too? We have moved our residence twice since my wife arrived to the states. Do I need to provide information for that? Where do I send them to? (I live in Michigan) I already wrote a cover letter and will provide them with this information.

Copy of the passport and green card of XXX

Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage.

Copy of the tax statement for 2015 and 2016, which we received for our checking account at XXX

Copy of 2016 tax transcript from the IRS

Copy of our Bank statement showing joint address and bank account

Copy of our  credit cards statement showing joint address and account.

Copy of our credit cards

Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.

A copy of our utility bill

Copy of our lease agreement

What else should/ could I add for more proof? What I have so far is the I-175 form ready and cover letter and these proofs. I will have the fee ready and the greed card copy. Thank you so much for your help!!!

Sworn affidavits are secondary evidence and are weak. USCIS places more emphasis in joint financial liabilities. I've gone through your list and you have a few things not needed which you can keep aside. Don't send a copy of her passport that's not needed. You should send but copy of both sides of her green card. When it comes to taxes send but tax transcripts from IRS, those are more accurate and it reflects what IRS has in records for you. Keep tax returns aside. USCIS recommends joint bank statements and financials should span all the way till marriage. You wanna make sure it spans at least from the moment she got her green card and should show transactions. Same applies to joint credit card statements as well as any other evidence you'll be submitting. You want to send as much as possible but also quality ones. Other evidence you can add are wills, medical power of attorney, joint insurance liabilities ( car, health, life) joint utilities ( water, sewage, garbage, phone, cable, internet), greeting cards addressed to you both and anything you can use to show bona fide marriage. If you wife has had an ultrasound she can get a picture of it to use as well it wouldn't hurt to do that. Good luck!
