I just got my EAD card, and my lawyer didn't give me like a list of thing I can do and cannot do. I have called but she has been busy, anyways I have a few questions I'm 20 yrs old and I'm applying for residency, which is why I received my EAD first and then move forward, but what do I have to do to get my SSN? Or does it come in the mail after? And Can i apply for a California state ID with my EAD card?...

You go to the ss office and apply for a number. You can check their requirements on their website, you can also check here on vj on the ssn forum.

for your state ID, every state is different so contact your closest DMV and they should be able to help you, but with the ead you should be good to go
