Our interviewwent well. We were an hour early and only 4 couples were there, all with their lawyers.

The AO did not look at any of the evidences (in terms of documents) that we brought in, not a single one was looked at except for the 3 photos--the AO specially liked & made nice comments about the photo of me and my husband's boss and how nice of them to give my husband and I a post-wedding party at the company premises.

I just thought I would update you... Efrain got his Green Card on Friday in the mail. We were so excited because as soon as he got the stamp, we had purchased him a ticket home to visit his family... And I was a little worried about him traveling with just that.... but we didn't have to worry, because the card came!

I got e-mail that my card has been ordered just now!. Thank god, I wasn't stuck in name check for more than a week. I wanted to thank everyone for their posts, which helped me through this process, without which it would have been hard.

Just a quick update on the medical RFE: My congressman's office called again this morning and said they spoke to whoever they talk with at USCIS and they are demanding everyone that got a medical RFE get new medicals. She's going to put in another letter, but there's not much else to do. I offered my availability for advice from someone who's been through the process, but apparently, you can only volunteer during a campaign.

Wow! I cannot believe there has been no activity on our thread for a week!! Not one approval or piece of news?? Well I'm going to change that... We got the email that Omar's welcome letter was mailed on Aug 3... We should be getting the card in the next 30-60 days I'd think. What's been the average time from the welcome letter until card production? I hope it gets here soon so we can officially start planning our trip to Morocco!! I have to have back surgery due to a car accident back in Feb and I want to get this trip done first, as travel will be out of the question for 2 months afterwards...

Recieved my Green Card in my hand today. Sooooo glad that is over and done with now, at least until 18 months time. YYYUUUPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My case is still pending and last touched on June 30th;

EAD is already out of 90 days since 1st NOA.

I called in USCIS and spoke w/rep, they like me to wait another 30 days.

I am adjusting from F-1(student) married w/USC; case is still at National Benefit Center.

I'll keep update and wish us luck.

I have my interview in a couple of days. I had sent the medical in a sealed envelope with my original application. Didnt have a copy for myself. But a few weeks back, I just asked the doctor's office to send me a copy medical, which is not sealed. I'll be taking that with me to the interview. Dont know how helpful that would be though if USCIS had lost the original sealed medical
