Had infopass this morning for our RFE. While we didn't accomplish anything, my wife and me(begrudgingly) are glad we at least know a little more...or not. The woman thought it was for a medical supplement, as a lot of K1s are getting RFE's for full medicals, which isn't required. We showed her the notice and she said it looks like the medical form they needed wasn't in the package. She recommended getting a full medical. I asked about our paper work being lost or in the wrong file, but she said when they look at a case, they request the medical from where you got processed. It's at that point they find out our sheet isn't in the package. I said we needed the medical in order to get the visa. She said she knows, but they can't do anything about it. At least we were in and out in a hurry.

On a side note, the lady and the security guards were all nice.

Our interviewwent well. We were an hour early and only 4 couples were there, all with their lawyers.

The AO did not look at any of the evidences (in terms of documents) that we brought in, not a single one was looked at except for the 3 photos--the AO specially liked & made nice comments about the photo of me and my husband's boss and how nice of them to give my husband and I a post-wedding party at the company premises.

Good luck to those with upcoming interviews & to those still waiting for some progress in their cases.

Wow, just read your posting jb_am! I take it you had an infopoass appointment before getting the actual letter from USCIS? I don't know if you got a supplemental vaccination form filled out, hopefully that's all it's about. If you have a copy, you can mail it right back in. Mine was in a sealed envelope, and was told by the Dr. that if I get an RFE for it, then I could come back for another copy of it. I would definitely think of ANYTHING other than another medical. Sometimes I think USCIS and Doctors are in league with each other!

On your side note...sounds like they were pleasant, which from other postings sounds like a bonus. Nothing worse than missing paperwork and snotty government officals!

We sent in the supplement. We were hoping to reason and say that since we had the visa, we had the medical, but it looks like my wife will need to get it. I called my congressman's office again, and his aide said she'll put in another request, but at this point she recommends getting another medical. We found a place that it'll be $102 for everything...thanks Orc!...so we'll try to get that done on Saturday. The aide said to look at uscis.gov and I said I did and then I told her about VJ. She was impressed that something like the was around.

I got some news too! I got the email with the "ead production card ordered" confirmation. Great. Now I can look for a job.

I hope that things get easier now

Ok...weird question.

I received my Green Card last month, and I know that the EAD is now moot.

I have seen people receive their EAD after they have the Greencard, because they don't realize that they have it.

I am just wondering, because my EAD hasn't been touched since 06/24 and it is waaaaaaay past the 90 days.

I don't know, I'm just curious...I mean, we did pay $180 for it I'd just hate to see that they stopped processing altogether...if that's the case, they should refund!
