Any news?

Still waiting for my NOA. Checks weren't cashed yet either...

It seems still early yet but may be it'll be on the way now.

I sent the AOS on 4/4 and it arrived in Chicago on 4/8. I am now waiting for the NOA, hope it will be here soon.

I will move to the west coast by the end of this month, hope we can find a place to live soon, so I can file for change of address and I will not miss anything!

I am really worried about this!

Same here, we suppose to move at the end of May but we decided not to move until I get my Green Card.

Weeks were flying by before I filed, now that I am waiting for my first NOA, time is not moving AT ALL. I feel like I sent the package weeks ago and it hasn't even been a week since they received it.

Having heard horror stories about the Post Office returning mail, I went and asked them what can I do to minimize the chance of returned mail for my new wife. The post office suggestedjust putting both our names on a sticker inside our mail receptacle. Simple as it seems, the mail carriers appreciate doing things like that for them.

Agreed. Our mailbox only had my husband's last name (I kept my maiden name) and the first piece of mail that came for me, the mailman put a question mark on it so we put a new sticker on it with both our last names on it. Mail has been fine since with no question marks.

If they cash your checks does that mean they don't need further evidence or just that they started processing?

That means they're just started the processing and no one can tell when we received our RFE. It depends upon what they ask for even if we think we submitted all the documents completely.
