Hello!

I was reading about AOS cases transferred to CSC.. Do You know if those cases transferred have been acompanied with a TONS of evidence of relationship? bank accounts, lease, boarding passes, lots of pictures?

I sent all the evidence required and 6 photos of our wedding.. is this sufficient, at least for skip an RFE?

Noone is certain of why some get transferred to CSC and some don't. We have speculated and guessed several reasons, but noone knows for sure.

Judging from your signature, there's no email notifications (yet) since there's nothing changed. Your petition is still pending. They don't change the message when they generated the biometrics appointment letter. My case hasn't been touched since the biometrics appt. day either (last week) when they scanned the barcodes at the appointment.

The exciting news I got today was that my case was transfered to CSC. The only strange thing is that I never got an email about it and my case online hasn't been updated since 04/19 which is the biometrics notice date.

Quickie question for anyone who knows. Aside from CSC transfers, when do cases get transferred from MSC to the district office? Is it before or after the interview date is scheduled? Does the MSC schedule with the district offices or do they transfer your case to the district office and then the office schedules your interview?

I was up on K3s and K1s but AOS is a brand new ball game! :D

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!

So here's a review of my biometrics appointment in Alexandria, VA as promised.

My hubby and I had to go into his work for a few hours as my appointment wasn't until 1pm and since we only have one car, and with the price of gas I decided to go in with him. So forward ahead to about 11:30am after sitting in the truck for 5 hours, we left from Chantilly, VA (where he works) down to Alexandria. Fun times on the Outerloop of the Beltway and 30 minutes later we were there. Thank Goodness my appointment was early afternoon because I don't even want to think of how long it would have taken us if it had been during rush hour!

I arrived at 12:20pm went into the building...not too hard to find, but we had to pull a U-Turn because you can't make a left turn into the parking lot. I immediately handed my letter and passport to the receptionist, she stamped it, and gave me the clipboard with form to fill out. My hubby took one look at the line of people and said "I'll be in the truck"...which is where he would have went anyway, because if you are not needed to assist a person, you can't wait there.

I got my number and I was #442 with #427 showing. I guess I waited about 30 minutes before my number was called. Since we live near DC there are a lot of people immigrating in the area, which is why there was such a line ahead of me.

My number was finally called, and a nice young gentleman took my fingerprints and photo. He must have been new, because it took him a little longer that some of the other employees, and I joked with him that fingers aren't the easiest thing to work with...they don't like to relax! He laughed. It got done, and I was out of there at about 1:15. So all in all, not too bad of an experience! :)
