Might be better to use the date on the NOA so people can get a better idea of when it's actually issued by USCIS. But having said that, the list is pretty long already and might be a pain to redo.

Now I remember why I was writing the day that it was received....I was doing what floridaguy said!! Well let's keep it like that...the majority of the dates on the NOA column are written in that way anyway!!!

Got the NOA in the ail on 5/1, but it had a date of 4/27 on it. That's what I put on my timeline, but do what you want. They also had a recevied date of 4/22, which was Sunday, so I guess they work on the weekends.

my package was received today (may 1st)

BUT i sent it to texas (because of the i130 and USCIS call center told me to :-/) instead of chicago (i read the advice after i sent the package..)

I hope to have the package back or rerouted internally. Are they supposed to send me a NOA or something in that case? was anyone on the same situation?

I love USCIS call center :-/ I will not blame them for my mistake, BUT they have a big part of reponsibility on that.

Well, checks for 485 and 765 cleared last night. Good sign. Probably a little early to expect just yet, but looking forward to a NOA1 in the mail soon!

No BIG news yet....but I do know that they received our packet on 3/26/07, so could someone update us so we can be officially "on the list...." It will make me feel better. haha

It happened to me when i filed I-126F, my packet went to masouri insted of nabarska n i had received NOA1 too, but after that i did not receive anything for three months so i got infopass appointment and that lady told me that my file is in masouri and she told me i should widraw that file and filed I-129F again as they would take more time to transfer could be one year so i went to my congress woman but her assistant wont listen to me and told me to wait so i written letter direct to coress woman n than her assistant call me n took care of my case n than within three days my file transfer to california. that was nightmare. it took me 9 months to bring my fiance here.

So we had biometrics appt today and it took us exactly 8 minutes to walk in and walk out. No kidding... I looked at my watch when we walked in and it was 12:32, we had an appt for 1:00pm, when we walked in the lady smiled (!!!) and said: "Cell phones?" - so we tell her, no, we left it in the car, she gives my wife a clipboard, we filled out the form, she gave us a ticket with a number and told us to have a seat and wait, from walking to the chair and almost sitting down, they called the number... it was seriously, 10 seconds... fingerprints done, photo taken (Wife says: Oh I love the picture !!! "I say, yes honey, it looks beautiful" lol), Thank you very much, Bye... - we are out at 12:40. Painless and very easy. I just hope everything keeps going smoothly...

Now, it is waiting for the interview - hopefully it will be a breeze as well.

Wahoo! My cheque was cashed this morning!! I am not sure if this will put me in the April or May filers based on my NOA1....I guess I'll have to anxiously await the mailman for the rest of the week! Hee Hee!

Same, I just got e-mail that my file transfer to CSC, that means my interview going to skip. Pls correct me if i m wrong.

yes, i m very happy , i had lot of problem in my I-129F. This forum helps me lot in my AOS.

I was so nervous every day checking everything before with the 129F...and now it's like "Oh...the got the packet...cool. Or... ok, so they cashed the checks..." I mean...it's so much easier to take the waiting when I can go home to my husband every day! So cool!!!

ANyway, just like Jashley820, they cashed my checks yesterday. Ouch. )

I agree 100%. It seems alot easier now since we have our honey with us. I am so thankful she is here now. My sunshine is here. I am so happy.
