Will the biometrics appointment letter come via email also? May I call local office to verify it hasn't been lost in mail if not?

Mine only came in the mail. We waited 10 days for ours and then had the apoointment 5 days later.

I'm just waiting for my biometrics letter to come now. I waited 8 days from when they actually sent my NOA. I got curious one day and looked at the envelope...I received it on the 24th but it was actually postmarked the 16th! I swear, my postman just doesn't like to deliver mail. I wait forever for things to come when they are supposed to.

I hope the letter comes soon.....and I hope the appointment isn't when I'm in Las Vegas!! :lol:

I'm still waiting for the check to get cashed...it's been a week now. I know my credit union turns thigns around pretty quickly. Oh well.

07/06/10 - Received Biometric appointment for 07/23 (dated 06/30)- DONE

08/02/10 - Received yellow letter reminding me to bring my state ID (dated 07/28)

08/05/10 - Case touched. Email and SMS case update stating that the case has been transferred to the local office for interview.

08/06/10 - Case touched

08/06/10 - Received interview appointment for 09/10 at 9:20AM in Philadelphia, PA

08/07/10 - Case touched

08/10/10 - Case touched

09/10/10 - Interview completed and recommended for approval

09/17/10 - Oath ceremony scheduled for Sep 29!.

09/29/10 - Oath completed. US citizen as of today. Journey complete!.

I didn't receive my biometrics appointment letter too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking to call USCIS and get information about my case... :blink:

hey Burke! I see we are plugging along at about the same rate...almost to the date!

We received our Biometrics letter on April 23 for appt on May 7th. After that we wait for the work permit to be issued, and then the loooonnnnggg wait for the interview.

I hope that is does not take a loooooooong time for the interview....I am moving out of state in August!!! Let's see if we can have the interview this summer...that would be awesome!!!

Ok, all my fretting was in vain. Tita got her biometrics appointment letter today. She is scheduled for May 15, 2007.

And we never got an email notification, even though the notice date is April 23rd. So go figure that out.
