I am very confused here I had my interview in August 8 and I am still on secuirity check ! I see that some people who had thier interview after me had thier GC already on what base they give to whom the GC first ! the one whowas interviwed first or something else? I called them today and they have no clue I wanna go visit my family and iam still waiting my Card..when I chech my status online it didn't update since june 8!!!!

Just got interview letter for I-485 set for Oct 17 in Miami

No update on the USCIS website, it last touched on June 30; but we still get the letter.

I also brought envelopes addressed to both of us that were postmarked (i.e., sent through USPS) from friends, etc. and included that as part of my evidence.

AOS. Interview finished in 15 minutes, about half of which was the officer discussing the Seattle Storm. A complete breeze, glanced at joint bank account, life insurance and car lease. Took no copies. Literally nothing else, a question or two about the marriage and "what have you been doing since then?". Approved.

In the midst of one of the craziest weeks in a long time with bad news after bad news, we just received an email:

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

We didn't think we were going to do the happy dance anytime soon.. but we are doing it now !!!!

I just notice florida_guy07 this thread again! I forgot to update you on my approval. My interview was August 24th, I did get a stamp at the interview, and I recieved my GC in the mail the 29th of August. Sorry about not advising you! Thanks so much for all your work on the list!
