Missing documents sent to the NBC

Hello,

 

I had to send missing paperwork to the NBC in Lee's Summit. I sent the paperwork with USPS. The tracking status says " Your item was delivered at 8:51 am on April 1, 2017 in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64081. " But the zip code from the address I have is Lee's Summit, MO  64002.

I am a little confused and worried now if the package even made it to the NBC or to a complete different address...

There are two zip codes for NBC; 64002 and 60680. Don't worry!

Oh, that's good to know.

I was like 'Wait a minute, that's not the right ZIP code..' And I was surprised that the document was already delivered today and not on Monday.

I might still get an RFE. I forgot to send a copy of my husband's W2 and it might take longer for my paperwork to arrive at the right place.

The paperwork was sent to USCIS but not to the RFE address...I could cry right now...

Wait, you send additional papers to the NBC because you forgot to add them? You should had wait until they send a RFIE asking for a complete tax return of the missing year.

I wanted to avoid an RFE. I know it puts everything on hold.

Oh well...I maybe call USCIS tomorrow morning.

There is a 99% chance they will ignore the documents send. If it was that easy, RFE's wouldn't exist.

I know.

I guess I have to wait for the RFE and send the paperwork again. At least I know what's missing. And I hope it won't take too long for the RFE to get here.

I know it's hard to be patient in this waiting game but it's advisable to be so. Once the RFIE comes in, go [your husband] to IRS website - sign in/create an account and print the complete tax return of the missing year. That is so much more preferred, also. Go job hunting in the meanwhile and if you found a company who is willing to write a job offer letter; you can expedite your EAD.

My husband filed his taxes for 2016 last weekend. I forgot to send the letter of employment and some of his pay stubs. I only included his 2015 tax return. I honestly don't know why I did not include the other paperwork.
