No problem although the embassy in Casablanca is known as one of the toughest to go through.

Also keep in mind, at your interview, will be required to provide police certificates and immigration papers for countries you have resided longer than 6 months.  If not in english, these paperworks will also need to be accompanied by a certified english translation as well.  Just things to keep in mind, as the time it takes to acquire these documents varies from country to country.

Per the US Embassy Madrid website:

  • Police certificate from all places you have lived since age 16.

My husband also lives in Spain for the past 8 years and is from Pakistan. As of right now we are still in the early stage of the I-130 application. He has submitted paperwork to have his police report from Pakistan so that way he will have the police report from both countries he has lived in. If you have a legal permanent residence or work permit in Spain it maybe more feasible to go through the US Embassy in Spain for the K1 visa instead of going back to Morocco.
