Hi everyone! I haven't been on here since forever. How's everyone doing? Congrats to everyone who got approved!

I am an April filer too. I had my biometrics in May. Since then until today, there was no change on my application status online. I have been very busy so I wasn't really checking my application on a regular basis.

Today, I came home from my clinicals, I checked my mail as I normally do. I got 4 mails from USCIS. I was shaking and couldn't explain how I felt reaching for the mails. First 2 mails, I checked if there were cards inside, nothing. Now I wanna cry because in my mind I thought I got an RFE or worse denied! When I checked the other 2, there was something in there. I opened them immediately. Surprise surprise! GC and Combo card! I opened the first 2 mails and they were  the AOS and AP approval notice. I was so surprised, shocked, I was teary eyed, I couldn't believe it. NO RFE, no Interview! I did not get the EAD approval notice, no update online on all my applications, no interview waived notice. I find it weird. But  weird things happen everyday so I guess I just have to be thankful I am done with immigration..for now. I got the old GC & Combo card design.

Best luck to everyone who is going to have their interview soon and to those who are still waiting. Hang in there guys, you'll get yours soon.

Wow, what a surprise! Many congratulations! Time to party!

Hi everyone! Me and my fiance is a I139f filer received on april 10 .. Anyone who got their approval already ? Lots of luck to us waiting and hoping 😊

Not sure I follow. Are you saying you filed an I-129F for your fiance? If so, you might want to head over to the forums specifically dedicated to that process since this forum is for people who already have visas.

Hey MAYNYCFILER2017

I am not that familar with brooklyn, but I think 195 Montague Street office is close to you. You can take the 4 train to Borough hall from where you are (should take you around 25 mins). You can also input your zipcode to find out your local office here : https://secure.ssa.gov/ICON/main.jsp#officeResults

Hope that helps!

Have not posted for a while, but have some news:

On 08/08 I requested my EAD to be expedited. At first I only had a severe financial hardship as a basis, however a few days back I got a job offer, which I faxed together with the other supporting documents to Lee's Summit. For those that are interested I based the expedite request upon 3 things: emergent situation due to lack of money and inability to pay rent and bills, Job Offer (financial loss to me and company), and USCIS mistake (they scheduled my Biometrics 120 days after filing the case, which I believe was their error).

On 08/18 i got an email from USCIS saying that SR was completed and that my case is currently "under review". It also says on USCIS.gov that they sent the response to my mail address.

I am hoping "under review" means they are finally adjudicating my EAD and it will go into production soon. Do you have any thoughts of what it might be? Some people's expedite requests still were not approved even with a job offer so i have no idea what to do: be excited or be sad that it is still not the end of my suffering :(
