I had my biometrics taken today. It was pretty easy and quick.

Do they take a photo in addition to fingerprints? My wife HATES the passport-sized pics I sent with her EAD/AP/AOS packet and I'm just curious if she'll have another chance to get her photo taken! :P

Yes, they do. And I actually hate the picture they took of me yesterday, the one I sent is much better. <_<

Hi there

Ordinary untracked mail is not very reliable and also very slow. They should have received your package by now, but you never know if it wasn't tracked. You should definitely try to send your immigration packages with a tracked mail service. I only use FedEx - it's worth the extra money as they are, IMHO, the most reliable and fast.

Hello,,

Feeling worried!

According to USPS my package was delivered on April 13 (I sent it 04/11).

The money has not been cashed yet, I am terrified, I checked some of your timelines and they are similar to mine, some of you got the first NOA. I sent the documents from Houston to Chicago:

USCIS Chicago Lockbox

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS) deliveries:

USCIS
PO Box 805887
Chicago, IL 60680-4120

Hey,
I sent my AOS on March 26, and USCIS sent me my NOA1 on March 31. I got them in the mail March 10.
I'm getting worried because I haven't gotten my biometrics appointment letter yet, and I see people who applied after me who already did their biometrics. I don't even have the appointment letter. It's been a month since I applied. Is this normal??

Guys I sent my package and was postmarked 04/25/2017. I just realized they updated I-130 in February. I used the old 12/23/16 edition with G-325A. OMG will they accept it ?

You mean I-131 (travel document)? It was last updated at 12/23/16. The I-130 is Petition for Alien Relative and was updated in February.

I meant the I-130,Petition for Alien Relative . Basically the whole AOS package includes I-130, G-325A, I-485, I-864, I-765.

I did not know they updated the form again in February.

USCIS website says:

"02/27/17.  Starting 04/28/17, USCIS will only accept the 02/27/17 edition. Until then, you can use the 12/23/16 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions."

If you're lucky, they'll accept it. I know some people sent out the expired forms, but USCIS still took it. However, it depends on your luck. If not, they'll return the whole package, and you'll need to re-apply.
