I received my combo EAD/AP card today. I am not sure if it is an old or a new design, but it says "Signature Waived." Other than that, all personal details are correct. I have also updated my VJ timeline.

Congrats on receiving your combo card! Seems like the average processing time is now well past 90 days to about 110-120 days, even without an RFE! Crazy! Would you be able to compare your card's design against the ones on USCIS's web site? Also, when you went to your biometrics appointment, were they able to successfully capture your signature? I'm curious as to why your card indicates it was waived.

Finally, THANK YOU for updating your timeline! It's so helpful for those of us still waiting to hear news about our EAD/AP cards!

Thank you. 🙂 Yes, I agree with you that it seems like the new normal processing time is now 110-120 days. (Using also the timelines of the people I follow.)

1. Upon checking the link you gave, I can confirm that the card I received is an old design.

2. Yes, picture, prints and signature were all captured during my biometrics, albeit the machine kept on insisting that my left ring and middle fingers have the same prints. 😂 It took a few attempts before we were able to move on to my pinkie finger. I have read somewhere here on VJ that having the signature waived is normal and shouldn't cause an alarm. But I will try to call tomorrow just to be sure.

Thanks for letting us know about the design of your card. Sounds like they're trying to use up old inventory, which makes sense. It's so weird that USCIS insists on getting a signature from you yet they either don't bother to print it or something got messed up within their database. Sigh.

Congrats to everyone who got their interview and combo cards, it's nice to see everyone progressing!

I haven't heard anything about my green card since May and we recently moved to another state (Maryland). We don't move into our new place till end August so I haven't updated the address on USCIS. Anyone has experience moving states in the midst of their I-485? I'm really hoping they don't schedule my interview in Texas!

Hey @hommeaetage, @sinayion, @mmmp & @earnhaaart,

All of our EAD/APs were approved on July 27th or just after. I was just wondering if anyone's has been mailed to them yet? If not could you let me know when it is please?

I'm going crazy because one of my best friends is getting married on 13th August in Scotland and I really want to be there! I thought I definitely couldn't, and then I could, and now I don't know anymore! I haven't been home since Feb 2016 either. I was hoping my card would have been mailed by now as it was approved on Thursday of last week, but it can take up to 30 days to reach us according to USCIS.

Anyway good luck everybody!

From what I've seen, people are getting them in about 7-10 days. I haven't received any more news after the "new card is being produced" notice. I have a flight coming up as well that I thought I would have to cancel. And my husband and I have our third wedding coming up in my home country with my family - so hoping to make it to that :D

I haven't received any notification about my AP, though. Is there any chance the EAD comes without travel permission?

You're third wedding??! Wow!

I received 2 NOAs yesterday, one for AP & one for EAD saying both were approved, but my AP status hasn't changed online. That seems to be the norm so I think you'll be absolutely fine there.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞

My EAD got approved July 28th. I'm hoping to receive it by the end of the week as I will be travelling back to my home country next week. I'm still waiting for them to update the status to card was mailed before I book a flight. I hope we all get our card this week! Please keep us posted!

I think yours will be mailed later today as you already received the NOA2. I've seen people's timeline where they received their noa2 and then the next day the card was mailed. Then receive it couple days after! Hopefully there's no delays with ours!! Keeping my fingers crossed.😊
