Hi guyzz

I recently filed a change of adress with the uscis online for 485 131 765 all together  in one form and the 130 in a seperate form

The thing is the 131 and 765 shows no service request  only the 485 is that a problem ? Should I do a seprate form for each application

Answers please !!

Congrats! Getting an interview means you'll get the GC sooner than if it was waived.

Based on VJ's calculation, "your EAD may be adjudicated between July 18, 2017 and July 29, 2017." Sounds like you're on track for an update soon!

Hope so, thank you!

Hey, I didn't know about this, thanks!

On a separate note, I just got an update saying our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. It's crazy how our case went from getting an RFIE back in April and it took us over 2 months to reply because they kept returning the RFIE notice as "undeliverable by USPS" to now being scheduled for an interview within 10 days!

Anyone have an idea roughly how long it takes to receive the notice in the mail?

Finally got an update on our I-485 petition. Interview is ready to be scheduled!!

Strangely, our EAD and AP petitions are still unchanged. Wonder if we will just end up getting those in the mail sometime soon.

w00t w00t! April filers going strong! Congrats both of you! :D

I think you should file address change separately for each form, just to make sure at least.

Hey, guess what? same thing happened to me after a Service Request - I got the same status online saying the inquiry was completed and that a response was sent to me..

I called USCIS and asked to speak with a Tier 2 officer and told her I did not receive any response and she kept saying that the status says 'that my case is under review and a decision will be made shortly' I told her, I received that hours ago but now the new status online says that a 'response to my inquiry was sent to me' but I didn't receive anything ....she said 'Oh great! you got your status then' and she started talking over me telling me 'thanks for calling USCIS, have a great day' and hung up on me.

Anyway, I don't know if they are still working on it or a response was actually sent by mail, just like you. If that's the case, I was hoping to ask the same thing you did and to ask for a copy of the letter to be sent to my email address.... i don't know what to do now... maybe I should just wait....:(

I don't know if it's the current administration, or if the Tier 2 officers have always been this rude and condescending. Fingers crossed for you.

They have always been this way. My ex-wife was dealing with them back a decade ago and they were rude, condescending and outright untrustworthy. They would say anything to get you off the phone. If anything, they are better now than they used to be.

I don't know.. it's just disappointing to receive this type of service.

One thing that was strange is she was talking about something I didn't even ask about. She started telling me about the processing time and that they don't look at the days anymore like 75 days, 90 days, 100 days. She went on to say that they are currently looking at March 2nd cases so that is 1 month away from the day i filed. I stopped her there and told her 'I saw that on the website, but it's true as of the 31st of May" - she just said 'right, but we are still looking at those cases'.. which is not true since most March filers have already received their EAD... anyway, I wish I spoke to someone else that was actually willing to help instead of receiving that rubbish treatment from her.

This is unbelievable!

It's not like this service is free. We've spent lots of money to get the documents processed in a timely manner to live a normal life with our spouse and family so the least they could do (especially since they are not meeting their own processing time) is to be respectful to the applicants over the phone. I wasn't even complaining... i just needed to know what the 'a response was sent' was all about!!! and after waiting over an hour for a call back, I still don't have an answer to my question, and this is not fair!<_< sorry I'm a bit frustrated... lol

Hello everyone, it has been a while that i posted or checked in VJ, i just wanted to stay away a little bit as this whole process is stressing, in order to take care of me and my new family here. So doing my things home, i just received the app notification " a new card has being ordered' this happens on day 107. and after i made an online service request and a call. So congrats to all of you that have your cases approved, and again for those waiting, hang in there...i know its hard but there's nothing else to do besides waiting and passed the 90 days, make an online request, call...but it will certainly come. Good luck to all of us

Congratsss!!:)

I was just wondering, how many days after calling USCIS to open a service request, did you receive the update that your card is being produced?

Thanks! Yes, I did the service request online on a Thursday last week, then on Monday this week I called, after the routine questions the man that I had on the phone told me I had a request pending so I should at least 5 days to have an answer. Then yesterday I got the notification.

Haha, yeah I hope you won't have the need to call them

I did submit an e-request last week btw hehe - I guess I was being impatient/excited after finding out from the InfoPass officer that my background check were finally completed and that my case was back with the NBC Service Center hehe so I had the urge to call lol
