Congratulations! Btw, did you raise any Service Request or Expedite Request for your EAD? Thank you.

No I did not expedite request as I didn't qualify.

However I did put in a service request on Monday. I got a reply saying my case was not going to be processed until July 22nd. I just gave up after that reply

to my surprise I got an update yesterday saying my new card was being produced. Shocker 😮

My wife just received her Interview Letter for I-485 from the USCIS!!!!:D

But still haven't heard anything from I-765 and I-131.....Do we need to call the USCIS and check with them?

Congrats! :D

April filer just Got an update that EAD card is being produced

But there was no update on The AP

Congrats! They didn't update my AP status either, even they mailed approval NOAs for both and the card also says the same i.e. it serves as AP.

You'll have the AP validity statement included on the bottom of your EAD.

I'm still concerned because I had an approval notice for my AP but haven't had any update on my EAD. I can't find any other instances of it happening this way around.

I'm pretty sure they accidentally updated your AP status instead of EAD. Their online system is clunky. :D Hopefully you'll be receiving the combo card soon. :)

Turns out I was/am missing my biometrics. I'd assumed that, as I never received an appointment, my biometrics taken last year were still valid; clearly that wasn't the case.

Either way, a representative from the congressman's office spoke directly with USCIS and arranged for a new appointment first thing Monday.

I'm taking this as meaning that once my biometrics are taken the EAD should be processed fairly quickly because USCIS are clearly in correspondence with my congressman re: my expedite request, and my AP has already been approved. Fingers crossed it's all wrapped up within a week.

After 101 days, EAD card is being produced. :D  I submitted a service request a few days ago, not sure if that helped or not.

Congrats to the people who were approved, and good luck to those who are still waiting.

Wow! Congratulations! 😃

I remember you telling us that you might put in a Service Request a few days back and I am glad it had (possibly) worked! I am on Day 103 today and was intent on just waiting it out. But since your SR seemed to have worked, I will submit one first thing on Monday. I think it is too late to submit one today given that it is already Friday and they will have no work on weekends. 😬

Congratulations again and may your AOS be approved soon, too! 🙏🏼

Hello! USCIS work until 7 pm and tomorrow until noon.

You better call and have your SR open. On my day 90 I opened a case to investigate. I reached the Day 92 today

Good luck!

Hello all,

Day 102 or 103 today with no RFE/RFIE, and I have just successfully submitted my first Service Request for EAD. Confirmation page says I should expect a reply by July 26. I am fervently praying that it doesn't take that long for them to process and work on my SR. 🙏🏼

Thank you, @Ninatica and @gray_cat

Hello lovewins! I am glad you reach out to them!.

Did you receive any confirmation from your SR (email)?

When I called I only got the ST #, what is that confirmation page?

😂😂😂😂😁😁😁😁 I do not know if I want to laugh or cry!

@Davide90,  we are in same situation. We all submitted our paperwork between Apr 25 and apr 29. my  theory is, our case officer left work and out cases haven't been reassigned.

Anyway, you need to  call and speak to a tier 2 agent. Don't bother with level 1 customer service, They can't see if your appointment was scheduled or not. Only level 2 can see. Speak with a level 2, confirm if you had an appt scheduled. If no appointment scheduled, They will create an expedited Service Request which you'll get a response to in 2 weeks. The service request should be for "no biometrics appt scheduled". A level 1 created a "Did not recieve notice" service request and it cost me a month of waiting only to be told she created the wrong one and we need to call.

Again insist on level 2 agent only.

If all else fails, contact your congressman. Your case has stalled until you get biometrics. Don't wait.

Thank you @Mwar for your help i called this morning and asked for a tier 2 agent, she told me that I'm gonna receive a letter with my biometric appointments in 2 weeks.

Thank you again

Instead of calling them as you had suggested, I just submitted one online thru their own website. Yes, I received an email confirmation telling me that they received my request and I should expect a reply by July 26. Creating the SR online just eliminates the need to talk with a customer service rep. 🙂

No problem. Here it is:

https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt

It is very straight-forward. Just make sure you have your EAD Receipt Number and A-number ready as the form seems to expire a bit faster than normal. 🙂

PM me if you need help with the form.
