Hello Flower!!! I Hope you are doing fine

Where did you find the info?

I am worried, as you know I am an April filler. Today my EAD-AP reached 90 days, USCIS CS is going to open a service request to review my case 😦😦😦😣😣😣😣

Hi Ninatica - hope you're well too.

The website is https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do then select NBC Processing Dates (at the bottom of the webpage)/ or whichever Service Center applies to you.

Yess, I'm an April filer too - we filed the same week. Hope you hear good news from the service request. Have you made an InfoPass appointment? I made one for next week.

Quick question: I sent my response to a Request for Initial Evidence last week that was received and signed by USCIS this past Saturday, July 8th, as shown by USPS tracking I had on it. Any idea roughly how long I should wait for the case status to update with the acknowledgement that they've receipt my response or are there any other actions I can take? I'm a bit scared because the 87 day response deadline is on July 20th.

It took USCIS approximately 11 days to confirm receipt of the submission of evidence I sent for my RFIE, although I don't remember off the top of my head if they dated the received date as the day my response arrived at their address or the day they notified me of receipt.

I'd like to say it was the former. Fingers crossed there's no unnecessary delay for you.

My mother-in-law also has a PD in April (3 days after mine) but she hasn't received her AP yet, and she has to be back by the end of July to wind up things back home, in order to move to the US. She has been here for 5.5 months now and needs to be back to take care of a few matters.

I was hoping to ask does the 75-90 day rule apply to requesting an expedite for AP? If not, could we raise a service request inquiring about the the status, now that her case is over 90 days?

I'm wondering maybe they're delaying it cuz they'd simply process her green card directly, something similar to what I have observed for some people who didn't hear about their EAD/AP but got the letter for their interview. In that case, it'd be great and works extremely well for her. :D  I'm assuming parents get AOS approved much sooner than spouses of USC.

Also, would she get her interview waived? I don't see a lot of people discussing IR-5 timelines for cases filed from within the US (maybe I'm not looking at the right subforums?) so we've no clue if she'd be called for an interview as is the case with consular filing.

Thanks in advance! :)

Hello everyone,

My process starting date is 04/28, but I never received the biometric appointment. I called today about my AP and the lady told me that my field office is currently processing the applications from March 18. Is it possible that my EAD/AP could be approved before I get my biometric appointment??

I currently live in Dallas- has anyone in this area received their EAD/AP and/or biometric appointment?

Thank you!

I wouldn't have thought so. You need to call USCIS and ask if your biometrics appointment letter was ever sent, and then, either way, request one be sent as a matter of urgency.

@Davide90,  we are in same situation. We all submitted our paperwork between Apr 25 and apr 29. my  theory is, our case officer left work and out cases haven't been reassigned.

Anyway, you need to  call and speak to a tier 2 agent. Don't bother with level 1 customer service, They can't see if your appointment was scheduled or not. Only level 2 can see. Speak with a level 2, confirm if you had an appt scheduled. If no appointment scheduled, They will create an expedited Service Request which you'll get a response to in 2 weeks. The service request should be for "no biometrics appt scheduled". A level 1 created a "Did not recieve notice" service request and it cost me a month of waiting only to be told she created the wrong one and we need to call.

Again insist on level 2 agent only.

If all else fails, contact your congressman. Your case has stalled until you get biometrics. Don't wait.

Unless your case is diffrent,You might have to make them understand you never gave your biometrics just to avoid more delays

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to know, when requesting an expedite for EAD and they ask you to fax the job offer, does the job offer need to be more official than an email offer? The job said they will work on a more formal job offer, but I'm still waiting and I'm hoping to get this expedite process over with to get it behind me and begin focusing on working. Thanks!

Yeah, I think you're right. I just found this on USCIS's website:

Sigh.

I did put her name in the mailbox. It was a crude cut & paste job while I get something official done but yeah I need to get that officially sorted by the apartment management.

Thanks for your reply!

Congrats!

I have my interview in one week and I haven't heard anything about my EAD/AP either. I wouldn't worry about it, as you won't need the EAD/AP once you get the green card.
