Hi y'all!

My PD is April 6th

Biometrics done May 19th

Got an RFE May 30th

RFE sent June 16th

RFE received by uscis June 20th

Im on my 92nd day since pd and I know rfe delays the process for a few days or weeks. I need to go back to my home country before July 25th for my sister's wedding and I know that it is not a valid reason for an emergency travel or to expedite a case. I am thinking of calling uscis later today to raise an SR but I don't know what to tell them if they ask me the reason why I want to expedite the case. I need to be home for my sister's wedding😫 i don't know what to do. Help please!!

I'm thinking they might tell you to add 25 days to the 90 day period coz of the RFE... I'm just doing a rough calculation from when they sent out the RFE to when they received the evidence... talk to your congressman about the sister's wedding thing, i think that would probably help out as USCIS seem to not ask as many questions to congressmen as they do to us(at least according to people on this forum) and then he/she can ask for the expedite on humanitarian grounds...

just your typical immigrant LOL!!!

Timeline so far:

May 23rd    : Sent i-485, i-130&130A, i-131 and i-765 along with supporting documents at around 6PM via UPS next morning delivery.

May 31st    : 4 texts and emails NOAs for all the applications and signed up for case status account.

June 2nd    : NOAs in the mail.

June 12th   : Bio-metrics done, Walked in with an infopass appointment that nobody asked for. They didn't even ask why i was coming in early.

The person who dealt with me was very nice and welcoming.

Hey guys!

Just to give you some hope - today my online application status changed - we are scheduled for interview on August 11th. My office is LA. So things are moving quickly. No news about EAD/AP though, but probably shouldn't expect that anymore.

Last night my case change to "EAD card was mailed to me". It first went to production on 06/30/2017, then said "case was approved" on 07/03/2017. And now, 3 days later, it says it was mailed. God knows when it would be here or if USPS will lose it, lol.

Congrats both of you! :D

Day 94 and still nothing. If I don't receive an update by the end of the day I'll submit a service request.

@gray_cat Our timelines are almost identical (I'm on Day 95 today and no RFE/RFIE) and I've received nothing yet. Per posts from others, if an SR is submitted in less than 120 days, the response will just be "case is within normal processing times." That being said, I'll most definitely submit an SR on my Day 121. However, should you decide to submit one later today, please update us, too. Good luck and thank you in advance. 🙂
