You're welcome, and congrats!

I'm on day 86 and still waiting.

Thanks! Hang in there; you'll receive yours soon. :)  It's day#87 for me and I received the update today, so it's slow but they're working on it.

Thanks! :) It was without an expedite request as it was within a 90-day timeframe. So, I was going to request an expedite next week though, had it not been updated.

That's good to know. 🙂 It gives us hope that this waiting might be over soon. Again, thank you and congrats!

My husband and I are K1- AOS April filers. I'm starting to think USCIS going to wait until the interview to issue the EAD. I'm on day 83 waiting on the EAD. AOS shows 'case ready to be scheduled for interview. Does anyone know if it being a K1 case affects if we'll get the card after the interview date.

Yeah I'm thinking the same as you because I'm on day 80 (EAD) and had my interview scheduled (07/28) already

Update on EAD: New card is being produced!

@Alan&Rachelle Thank you so much for your advice! You saved me from a month of anxiety!!

Everybody, if your EAD application has been pending for a long time and you need it urgently, go talk to the local office of your congressman/woman. It doesn't hurt to ask and they might be able to help!

Congratulations!!!

I had one question though for those of you have received the card or have their EAD status update:

Since they produce an EAD/AP combo card now instead of separate documents/cards, shouldn't the status for the I-131 also change? I only see the change for EAD, in my case.

Yea mine didn't change but I've just received the hard copy approval for I-131.

AOS

03/20/17....Applied SSN

03/25/17.... SSN card received

04/01/17....AOS mailed

04/10/17....NOA 1

04/19/17....RFE

05/12/17....Biometric appointment

06/01/17....EAD expedite request

06/06/17....Faxed EAD documents

06/23/17....EAD/AP combo card approved

10/27/17....Green card approved

I have a friend from NY and he called the USCIS and they told him they held the EAD and AP bc they are sending him the green card soon. ( his interview was waived). Not sure if it applies to all cases.

Houston, TX. I came back from my Biometrics appointment and after I got home I went to the dps website to check what exactly do I need and to my surprise is listed under acceptable documents a 797 notice with a pending applicaton for adjustment of status, so I grabbed the  things I needed and went to the office close to dacoma st. There was a 2 hr waiting, then my turn came and I had to explain to them bucause they don't even know. So had to show my passport, expired visa, I-94, social security card, lease of my apt (proof of residency) insurance and vehicle registration. They took a picture and scan fingerprints, then they checked on the inmigration website using the alien number on 797, but the person helping me told me that it shows it's pending and needed to get a 2nd type of check and that I will receive a letter from immigration and I should bring it back once I receive it. So I left and now I am waiting but later on I was thinking that she did told me on the original check that the application was pending and an acceptable document is a "pending application". You have to insist if you try, print that list and show it to them, let me know if you try.

Thanks! I will keep you posted.

Hello guys!

So we had status change, we are ready to be scheduled for interview (as of June 22nd). Not really expecting to get one soon, since I live in Los Angeles.

But I have a question about EAD/AP. I have no news about those, and I do want to work. From when do you start counting your active days? Sine NOA or Biometrics appointment?

All this waiting is so beyond annoying...

P.S. I filled my AOS based on K1 visa, so maybe that has some impact on all of this. Any information is appreciated.

Congratulations to all those receiving EAD/AP and/or interview scheduling.

Day 73; still waiting.

On Wednesday, I sent off the requested evidence in response to the RFIE I received. FedEx tracking shows said evidence arrived at USCIS today, around 10am, but no update to my AOS case yet (understandably so). Do they work weekends, or should I expect not to hear anything until Monday at the very earliest?
