I think my local office is San Jose, CA. If my interview will take place at the same office where I had my biometrics appointment, then it is Salinas, CA.

Hello Everyone!

Good to see that there is some progress happening four us April filers!:D No updates for me since my biometric appointment...patiently waiting!

Quick question... how do you count how many days your case has been active? Do you count from the priority date and include weekends? Just trying to get a sense of when my 75th and 90th day will be to track the progress of the ead card....

Mine is either San Jose or SF. I went for biometrics at an application support center and it didn't seem like interviews are conducted there. Our lawyer had told us cases move pretty slow in our area but your status update is extremely encouraging. :)

did you expedited it based on a job offer? I wanted to do so, but I heard they will deny it unless your case been active for 75 days.

I see. Then I probably have to go to San Jose. I saw on visajourney's statistics that applicants at San Jose have to wait over 200 days on average between the biometrics appointment and their interview. Hopefully it won't take that long in our cases!

Yes, I did. I was unaware of the 75 days thing. I´m still 19 days away from that. Oh well, whatever happens happens. If not, then I´ll try it again mid-July (because we can put in another request to expedite after 30 days, I believe). However, I hope that I will have heard something by then.

I will keep you posted!

You can put in for an expedite as soon as you've completed your biometrics. And i was informed I could not do an SR for expedite until 5 days after it was last touched (so I put in 4 requests within the space of 1 month). As of today, my EAD is being produced as a result of my expedite request and I mailed my packet in May 11.

Got an RFE for my AOS via the app this morning. Joy!

I expect it's related to the poverty guideline, as my wife's income fell $146 below it, or thereabouts. Seems harsh if that is the case, but rules are rules, I guess.

I am sure there is 5ish% threshold in all tax/poverty guidelines.  I doubt +/- $200 would make a difference.
