How man days does it usually take to get your NOA1 Letter after text notification?

Usually in 7 to 10 days. Maximum time is 30 days listed by USCIS, if you don't receive it within 30 days you have to call them.

I think it's gonna be 30 days from the Received Date. My Received Date is April 24th, and they told me that if I didn't get the NOA1 by May 24th, I should give them a call. So I think it's not 30 days from the day you receive the text/email, but from your Received Date.

Well, look at it this way: EAD/AP issuance takes at least 3 months based on current processing estimates. So, worst case, your appointment letter gets lost in the mail and you call USCIS after waiting 30 days and they tell you to reschedule your appointment. I doubt there's a penalty for that. I'm sure it happens all the time. Chin up, hang in there!

hi! thanks! im trying to not freak out...i was thinking, i received the noa1s on a saturday so im really crossing my fingers and toes here...today marked the 18th day since noa1 so...i hope that is today...wahhhh

Where did you find that information? It looks like the actual rule published on the USCIS web site is 84 days, as strange as that might sound. You'd think they'd be fine with even numbers (90 days) but go figure!

I received an RFIE. I just looked at what it said. Also, I know a lot of people who received RFIEs and their RFIEs said 87 days as well.

This is an image of a RFIE that was posted on the March 2017 forum. The only difference between this one and mine is the evidence that is being requested.

Got my NOA1 Letter today.....but the USCIS did not give me a receipt # for I-765.....

 

I included I-765 (EAD) and I-131 (Travel) in the I-485 package

 

Do I just need to call them and confirm with them?

 

So stressful that we have everything included in the package and the USCIS still can't do things right....

From what I've read here, I'd wait at least 2 weeks before calling them. Sometimes, the NOA (I-797) forms get lost in the mail.

But I have only received 2 text notifications with 2 receipt numbers only.

 

I think I will try and call them on Monday. I think the USCIS missed my I-765 Form....

That's a very valid reason to call them. Definitely concerning, especially if all three applications were in the same envelope/box. Good luck with your call. From what I've heard, it takes a long time to reach someone at USCIS who has any power to do anything.

I'm quite concern now that its been 20  days since NOA1 notice date(though i didn't really have the knowledge as to how long should we really wait for it in the mail, i understand standard is 7-10 business days, who knows how long is the standard at USCIS), and still no bio letter in the mail. so I'm gonna call them tomorrow just to check if they've mailed it at least if they did I'd be able to get that info compared to not doing anything and then receive a notice coming from them telling me i didn't show up for that appointment when in fact i didn't receive any..

i will let you guys know...

here's to hoping it'll pop up in the mail first thing tomorrow before i call them.    you gotta have faith faith faith
