If you sent out your package by Fedex, you should have sent it to the USCIS building. The Lockbox is designated for USPS shipments only. However, if someone did sign for your package, I think it's in good hands now. You just need to give them a little bit more time. Good luck!

This is the address I sent to:

"For FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

USCIS
Attn: FBAS
131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60603-5517"

I thought both of them were Lockbox.

But yes someone did sign for my package so I know it has to be somewhere in Chicago USCIS:)

Yes, that's the correct address, so don't worry about it. It all depends on the worker who works on your case. There are many factors that might affect the progress such as their sick leaves, off days, vacations, or how many cases they have to handle right now. Therefore, just be patient and be positive. However, based on my experience, if you have already spoken to them over the phone, you'll be more likely to receive something soon. Just like one of the March filers, he called and spoke to the USCIS officer after his 21 days of waiting. After he hung up, his check was cashed. And it happened to me, too. So, just hang in there; we'll all get there eventually. There is no doubt saying this whole AOS process is a waiting game.

im on the 15th day mark now since noa1 date hopefully ill get it this week...the waiting is crazy...heard stories that some didnt even get their notices on the biometrics in the mail and missed their appointments..sigh

Well, look at it this way: EAD/AP issuance takes at least 3 months based on current processing estimates. So, worst case, your appointment letter gets lost in the mail and you call USCIS after waiting 30 days and they tell you to reschedule your appointment. I doubt there's a penalty for that. I'm sure it happens all the time. Chin up, hang in there!

Hi Mwar :)

I didn't get a text or email and my status didn't change, the letter just appeared in the mail. How long have you been waiting? I hope it comes soon for you!

There is no electronic notification for the biometrics appointment. Your case status doesn't change, either. As far as I can tell, people get their letter at different times based on the volume of cases handled at their local USCIS office. If you look at my signature, you can see there was a 17-day gap between when my wife received her NOA1 letter and the biometrics letter. Some folks say it can take up to a month.

Nothing moves fast in immigration-land!

Thanks guys. I will continue to wait patiently. I got noa1 May 2nd so it's only been 2 weeks since. Hopefully not much longer

So, We got our text notification (But no email) around 1:20am today!!!!! :D

But my question is, I filed for I-485, I-765(EAD) and I-131 (AP) but I have only received 2 case numbers and 2 text messages....

Do I need to call them and confirm? Should it be 3 case numbers?

I'm glad things have started moving for you! I only sent one G-1145 but I received separate texts & emails for each case, so I'd give them a call to double check. I'd imagine it's probably just an admin error though :)
