@yutekao its delivered on the 27th, so i presume they received it..the question is what happened to it and where is it now. usually they give out notices on how they work on our case before anything else right? lets see what they have in store for you this afternoon...crossing fingers and toes for you here :)

I called again and spoke to a different lady. She said typically takes 10 days to process the USCIS packages sent to Chicago Lockbox....

And again....she needed to transfer me to a USCIS immigrant officer but the waiting time is still over 2 hours.....I don't think I will get a call back today...

This is a stressful situation since I do not know if the USCIS lost my package during the process or if my case got returned.

I can not get updates at this moment so I guess I will just have to keep waiting for the response.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

So I did get a call back from the USCIS officer and so he thought it was a little strange that my check has not been cashed yet (because normally takes around 10 days) and it has been 19 days and nothing yet.

He told me to be patient because some cases may take up to 5 weeks....and he said if I do not hear anything from them by next week I should definitely give them a call back to see what's going on.

He couldn't check if my case was in the system or not so I will just be patient. Hopefully I was get an email/text notification soon.

There is no electronic notification for the biometrics appointment. Your case status doesn't change, either. As far as I can tell, people get their letter at different times based on the volume of cases handled at their local USCIS office. If you look at my signature, you can see there was a 17-day gap between when my wife received her NOA1 letter and the biometrics letter. Some folks say it can take up to a month.

My package was delivered on 4/24, and I just got the text/email notification last Friday. So it took me about 18 days, too. If you have already called them and talked to them about your case, you might here something soon since I received the notification 2 days after the speaking on the phone with the officer. I got the notice in mail on Saturday, and it states that the Received Date is 4/24, but the Notice Date is 5/11. So I think it depend on the worker who handles your case.

01/09/2011 - Arrived United States

11/15/2012 - Officially dated my husband

11/30/2015 - Got married

03/15/2017 - AOS package sent but got rejected

04/22/2017 - AOS package re-sent

04/24/2017 - AOS package delivered at USCIS, Chicago

05/12/2017 - Text/Email Receipt received (1 text, 1 email) for I-130

05/13/2017 - Received I-797C for I-485/I-765/I-131 in mail (USCIS couldn't find my record for I-130 approval)

05/15/2017 - Check cashed (I-130)

05/19/2017 - Received NOA1 for I-130

05/20/2017 - Resubmitted I-485/I-765/I-131

05/22/2017 - I-485 delivered at Chicago P.O. Box

Thank you! That definitely makes me feel a little better. Hopefully I will get something soon.^_^ I just have to keep thinking positive! I just kept worrying about the USCIS might lost my package but the thing is....I sent my package with Fedex with signature required, so I do know that the package was definitely delivered to the USCIS Lockbox.

If you sent out your package by Fedex, you should have sent it to the USCIS building. The Lockbox is designated for USPS shipments only. However, if someone did sign for your package, I think it's in good hands now. You just need to give them a little bit more time. Good luck!
