Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share a little bit of information for those who may not know that if you make an account with USPS and sign up for informed delivery, you can see what mail will be delivered to you on a daily basis. They send an email every morning around 8am or 9am with what you can expect in your mailbox along with the picture of the front of the envelope.

This is helpful for all of us who are going through this immigration process and will be expecting NOA's, EADs or any important envelope coming from USCIS.

Hope this helps someone! All the best to everyone😊

Thanks so much for sharing this!!:)

Awesome! Thanks so much! So pretty much at any point until issued with GC they could ask for more evidence? Makes sense. Also, oddly, feels a little less stressful knowing that!

Yep. At any point until the interview is scheduled and during the interview itself, anybody may get an RFE. But let's all hope that does not happen to any of us. 🙏🏼🤞🏻

I know right. I'll be graduate on the 17th, and I need the receipt from USCIS since I'll be authorized to stay while the application is pending. It's already the 7th, so it's mean I only have 10 days left in order not to be kicked out of the country.

You really do not have to stress about this. I was out-of-status for 24 days before I received the NOA1s in the mail. I was out-of-status while I was preparing the documents and mailed them. Luckily you do not live in a border town, and do not have to worry about it on a daily basis. Nobody is going to kick you out. They would not have enough time to do so before your NOA1 comes even if they tried. :)

Is that so? I have heard that once I graduate, I will have 60 days (some said 30 days) to stay in the country, then I'll have to leave. How were you out-of-status while you had been on K-1 visa (if you don't mind me asking)? My I-20 stats that it valids until June, but I don't know if the school will end it early after I'm done studying or not.

Owww!!! Try not to worry, it will arrive one of these days!! Btw DMLA posted something about signing up on USPS so you know the mail you can expect in the mailbox ahead of time. Look at the first comment on Page 21. This is actually very useful. Worth checking out :)

@Ninatica Maybe you can call and inquire if the letter has already been sent? There are others who have missed their appointments due to non-receipt of the letter.

@yutekao You shouldn't be worried, at least for now. Watch out for the check though. Once it is cashed, you'll receive the e-notifs and hard copies in the following days.

For what it's worth, I think there is someone on this thread who sent his/her package in early March but only received an update in early April.

I, for one, got my NOAs 17 days after my package was delivered.

Try to relax, okay? Do not stress yourself over this.  🙂

Yeh I wasn't really too stressed out until people that sent the packages after me already received text/email notifications.

Hopefully I will receive a notification soon.

Also I just realized that i did not sent enough passport photos for I-485, EAD, and AP. (I only sent 2)

Will I just get a RFE later or will the USCIS sent the whole package back to me?

I just gave USCIS a call this morning asking to speak with a tier 2 officer, but the customer representative told me that I had to give her information on my case first. After verifying everything, she told me that since it had been more than 10 days since my package was delivered, she would transfer me to a tier 2 officer. An officer called my husband back and talked to him since he was the petitioner. She told him that they received the package on the 24th, and it would take additional 15 days for them to process everything then they'd cash the check and send out the notices. I was wondering when she mentioned the word "received." My package was delivered on the 24th, so I'm not sure what she meant. Did she mean they got my application on the 24th, or they actually accepted my application and would process it?

Do you guys have any idea?
