Thanks for the words of support.
When did you file your package? March 28th?

I sent my package on the 22nd, it was delivered on the 24th, which was last Monday. I have seen a lot of people, whose packages were delivered on the same day as mine or even after that, have already received the notices. I'm kinda worried, too. But since people said that it actually depends on your worker, and not every case is the same, and that it's not based on first come, first served basis, so I just wait patiently.

01/09/2011 - Arrived United States

11/15/2012 - Officially dated my husband

11/30/2015 - Got married

03/15/2017 - AOS package sent but got rejected

04/22/2017 - AOS package re-sent

04/24/2017 - AOS package delivered at USCIS, Chicago

05/12/2017 - Text/Email Receipt received (1 text, 1 email) for I-130

05/13/2017 - Received I-797C for I-485/I-765/I-131 in mail (USCIS couldn't find my record for I-130 approval)

05/15/2017 - Check cashed (I-130)

05/19/2017 - Received NOA1 for I-130

05/20/2017 - Resubmitted I-485/I-765/I-131

05/22/2017 - I-485 delivered at Chicago P.O. Box

My RFE for new I-864 forms reached their PO Box today, let's hope everything goes smoothly now.

Anyway, I'm got a question. I've read people going in early for their biometrics, is that true?

Mine is on May 12th, but I'm wondering if I can walk in early.

Congrats on your job! I've received a job offer 2 weeks ago that starts in August too, I accepted it and I'm hoping my EAD goes smoothly too! :)

I considered expediting my EAD, but if the job only starts in August, do you think they will expedit it?

I would call them and explain the situation.

Honestly, I would give the expedite a try. You would not want to lose a perfectly good job offer because of just a few days' delay in case there is a problem. Worst case scenario they say no and you end up waiting like you would anyway.

But where and how are you all getting a job with similar start dates 😊

Hi.

(c)(26) Description: Spouse of an H-1B nonimmigrant

Since you are adjusting status from K1, your eligibility category is definitely not (c)(26).

You are an adjustment applicant so your eligibility category then falls under (c)(9).

(c)(9) Description: Pending adjustment of status under Section 245 of the Act

On Form I-765 Page 1 Question 16, use (c)(9). Enter "c" on the first box and "9" on the second.

Page 2 Questions 17, 18 and 19 do not apply to you so just leave them blank.

When you re-submit your EAD application, attach a copy of the I-485 NOA1.

Goodluck.

Exactly what lovewin said. Your option is c9. You can fill up new form, attach evidence, Then when your rfe comes in, you can mail your application immediately.

People who applied in Feb this year haven't received their ead yet. That means ead processing is over 90 days. I see people saying that processing times are picking up... I would probably wait a few weeks then request an expedite.

So, the filing fee left my bank account this morning between approximately 7 and 8am.
Relieved to a certain degree, although still somewhat nervous about any possible RFE.
Judging by this, you should be seeing some movement with your case by next Wednesday.
Good luck!

You can check my post history, I have a picture of the RFIE for birth certificate. We asked at InfoPass and on the phone and they said send it again with the travel.state.gov Reciprocity schedule for your country as directed by the RFIE. They received our response a couple of weeks ago and they seem to be good with it now.

I sent my rfe response the other day i went overboard and added few more documents/evidence, also did the biometric appointment today was very fast
