Hey ! Same here, Fingerprints fee received on April 7th...since then nothing. I called twice already and they tell me to wait, because the National Benefit Center processing the cases are still processing cases of August 2016. Like for real??? So ...yes . Just wait...and wait...

Since our RFIE was received by them on April 19 we have had no update either. They said on the phone it's still with NBC  We have an Infopass appointment on Monday... not sure if it will be helpful

Our interview is scheduled for December 7...finally! Anyone have tips for the interview? I'll gladly accept links to relevant threads here on VJ, of course.

Wow!! August 2016, are you kidding? That's when I applied for my K1 visa. So... are we gonna have to wait for another 7 months?

I didn't know it went to another center before local office. I haven't called myself but seeing as everybody who did tells me they were just told to wait...

No, we filed an online request for an update on October 3 and they said they would respond by October 25, but it has not been assigned to an officer.

I filled an online SR too on October 10th. It states that they will respond by November 11th. Not assigned yet either.

Have you tried an Infopass appointment? (Yes, I realize they're hard to find in large cities.)

Good luck with your appointment. Hopefully, they're able to shed some light on the situation for you. Your next step should be contacting your spouse's representative in Congress or Senator.

Had trouble logging in months ago but now I was able to. My AOS was approved on September 16 which happened also on my interview. I got my green card on September 18. My local USCIS is in Philly but I was interviewed in Mount Laurel which might have explained why the process was outstandingly quick. The one who interviewed me also asked for any evidences that has both of our names and she asked for pictures. We didn't have any time to print any because we were really in a hurry from driving from Philly to NJ (and my partner and I were partying hard the night before and hadn't thought or worried about the interview) so the interviewer forgave me from providing the pictures but advised me to provide one during the lifting of conditions. Very nice interviewer, offered us coffee. The design of the card is not the new one but personally I prefer this design. I hope all of you will get what you are seeking with: answers, experiences from everyone, and good luck.

hi. desperately needing for help/advice

 

we just moved from LA to NY last Nov 1 while pending AOS

online status still says "response to rfe received" as of today

talked to tier 2 last month, says we're on the "waiting for interview schedule date" since July 

 

so I filed the online change of address last Nov 1, so there's the notice to wait until Nov 13 for a response, and the request is still not assigned..

 

yesterday night, my friend checked our mail in LA, we got our interview date in LA at Nov 28, dated Oct 27

 

im terribly anxious now, what should we do?

 

im calling them tomorrow but what would be my best plan?

 

can I ask to hold the change of address and keep the interview date in LA, we'll just fly back from NY.

 

or does this mean the interview will be cancelled and I have to wait for an interview sched here in NY?
