I'm glad to see a few folks starting to get interview dates. Not so much for my wife, though. I heard back from my representative's office earlier today. Apparently, my wife's case is still in the queue to be scheduled for an interview. It's been in that status since July 28! Sigh.

Sorry for that. I am also looking forward to the interview date. Mine is stuck on "ready to be schedule..." since June 29 :(

I am not sure what you mean by I-485 date. I did file a SR online for my EAD while my I-485 was ready to be scheduled, it did not change any dates.

For example, before I did SR for EAD, my status for I-485 was As of August 15 we are ready to schedule your interview changed after SR to, As of September 28 we are ready to schedule your interview. Only the dates changed while the request I made for my I-765 EAD is not currently assigned to an officer. 

Do you remember the no of days from your PD before you did an e-request and how long after that, was your EAD approved?

I started calling on the 81st day, they only made an SR for me on the 94th day I got approved for my EAD on the 107th day.

 

 

As for my AOS, it was on Case Is Ready to be Scheduled for an interview when I started calling for the EAD. But I received a notification that my interview has already been scheduled a week before my EAD got approved.

That is odd, but nothing to worry about.

My request was simply completed, not assigned to an officer either.

I filed a request after 120 days. It's been more than 160 days and I haven't received my EAD. My green card is approved and is supposed to arrive this week though.

Hi Athens,

 

My case did a similar thing. My I-485 case status has been "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" since 26th June, and then on September 28th my case status updated to "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview" again. I thought it might have been because I changed my address, but maybe it was just a glitch in their system. I already have my EAD so it's probably not connected to the SR you submitted.

Hello Bryon, I also changed my address. It’s obvious our status which was ready to be scheduled remain the same but changed to a different date and same day as yours when you never did SR on September 28.

Do you remember the number of days from your PD before you did an SR? How long afterwards your EAD was approved. Did you call immediately after SR to speak with tier 2 before approval?

That lady was from Ohio. She said it was not and expedited case either. I WAS LIKE "hey i have a friend who was a December filer and had not received any update yet!"

Does anyone know how to get tracking info from USCIS when they mail the card out?
