I did not know they updated the form again in February. 

USCIS website says:

"02/27/17.  Starting 04/28/17, USCIS will only accept the 02/27/17 edition. Until then, you can use the 12/23/16 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions."

Ah I see, I'm adjusting from a K1 visa so the contents of my AOS package are a little different than yours. Hopefully, since you sent it before 04/28, they will accept it. Fingers crossed!

Had my biometrics yesterday! Super fast and the people there were so friendly! 

 

The picture they took was horrible haha, but I don't mind! I'm just happy that I got the appointment quickly!

Package was sent yesterday 04/26 and was delivered at USCIS through Fedex today!

 

The waiting game begins!

Hello! I know waiting can drive anyone nuts, especially when VJ-ers who have similar timelines have already received their biometrics letters.

 

But as we all know, there really is no blanket USCIS timeline since not all cases are the same and not all USCIS employees work the same.

Update!! I logged in to my bank account this morning and noticed a debit of $1225 from USCIS! We also received NOA1 notifications via text!!!

Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) ...

Looks like im going into the RFE club ,im very interested to see what i got rfe on my  i485,hopefully something small, on the rfe where do they tell u to send it? And im guessing u include the letter wirj what u send?

Oh no! How did you find out? (Your signature doesn't mention an RFE).

 

I hope it's something simple and not too involved (like getting a certified document, etc).
