Thanks for the special shout-out 😊😊😊. Good luck to us and everybody here. I hope we can all be with our loved ones soon. This waiting game is starting to get in my nerves too. I miss my love so much I was crying when I talked to him earlier. Talking to him everyday is what keeps me going but I don't know earlier I just miss him so badly 😥. It's so frustrating to see him but not being able to him. Between the two of us it is always me who is the positive one he always said but earlier I cannot help it.

Even the 2 hours of video call isn't enough. But then hearing him said we will soon be together is enough to cheer me a little bit. It is his time to cheer me up this time lol

Sorry guys I don't mean to be negative at the start of the week. I just need to let it out

Oh feel free to vent! :)

I feel you! hahaa

Welcome! :)

So regarding your questions... We talk about received date and notice date, referring to both dates showed on your NOA1 hardcopy. Received date is when they received your petition, as you can read also when checking in the case tracker ("On April xx we received your case..."), while notice date is when they actually processed it on the system... Usually same date you received the email/text.

And yep, you got that right. Unfortunately the case tracker hasn't been working for Approval since early May, just RFE's, so keep an eye in the mailbox. Maybe check if USPS Informed Delivery works for your address?

It might be on its way, who knows? So let's cross fingers for it :)

And yep, keep in mind he lives currently in Utah. He's not a Mormon, but you never know :P

(With all my respects to Mormon culture, I know that doesn't happen anymore :)).

🤞 fingers crossed then..

😄 i think i just need to keep my faith stronger, that Noa2 will come So soon..

Uscis Site is not updating so don't count on that. So if you have signed up for the email/text notification it should be that but since there are problems with that too lately. Apparently march filers just receiving their NOA2 on their mail. So as we always say here lately happy mail box hunting 😊😊

Rule #1 is do not buy plane tickets without visa in hand.  This sage advice had been repeated on countless occasions here on VJ.  If you poke around the forums enough, you will find many examples of money lost and plans gone awry.

Not really. Just a couple mid month, that are not really here, and another one that passed by when approved really early, like maybe a month ago. We've started to seen approvals for last week of March recently, which includes some people with a notice date 3/4 so far, so we are really looking forward to good news here this week :)

DAY 104 (109 since received date)

Still early for the Informed Delivery email, but I think I can already say nothing there from USCIS :P

I thought at first maybe there wasn't even mail today anyway, since it's Pioneer Day in Utah, but I think USPS goes by Federal holidays. Anyway, since it's a holiday there, than means more quality time with my other half. Yay!

So as Scarlett O'Hara would say... "After all, tomorrow is another day"

Hugs, Aprilites :)

I've been meaning to mention this... I'm sure anyone who has scanned the USCIS tracker database before may have noticed that there were an incredible number of i-130 as well as other applications in the late March time frame. It has been my opinion that the lull in activity on i-129F applications was in large part due to that. I recall scanning through over 1000 applications and not having one hit on an i-129F. I'm hoping and praying we're past that now. We're all ripe for some good news. The ongoing trickle of approvals can't continue. I know they're still there working in California doing the same job they've done for as long as they've been there. In another 3 hours and they'll start their week and work on the next batch of overly anxious filers!

I don't know if that's something out of the ordinary really. I manually scanned thousands of cases to get April case numbers and, as I mentioned once before, I noticed K1'S are only like a 10% of the total applications the tracker shows.

Given the tracker doesn't include some type of visas, like H1 or Diversity Lottery, that can give us an idea of the huge load of work they have and how every one of our cases is just a drop of water in the USCIS ocean :)

But they keep going anyway, we have proof of it, so here's to a great week for the Aprilites (finally :P).
