Hello, 

I am new to this website. My fiancé and I sent our petition at the beginning of April, and it was received April 6th. I got the NOA1 on April 11th. Has anyone from April been approved yet? How do I know which processing center we are at? Where it this timeline everyone is talking about? When should I expect to hear something from them again? Sorry, I'm getting anxious!

Welcome to the group. Always happy to have more people here.  

 

Most are sent to the CSC, California.  You can tell by the letters at the beginning of your receipt number, WAC IS CSC.  

 

As for your timeline, you can get to it by clicking your username in the upper right corner and then click my timeline, then edit your timeline.

Thank you! I figured out the timeline. It says my case should adjudicated between July 29 and August 4, whatever that means. My service center is WAC, you were right!

Welcome, my new timeline twin!

 

We are expecting to start seeing NOA2'S here next week hopefully. Keep in mind the case tracker is not working, so even if we get lucky and approved in the estimated timeline window, the letter arriving on snail mail would delay the news a few days. So August is what I'm aiming for now... Let's see what happens, because there's not really way to know when a case will be touched.

 

Here's to none of us being left behind once they started to work on April consistently

Hi guys! My fiance found NОА-2 in the mailbox a few hours ago! The date of noa 2 - July, 18th.  Yippee! The most interesting thing is that on July,20 th my fiance called to USCIS and he was not told about the approval. They said that they are working with petitions on January 2))) So do not waste your nerves and time to call there. It's useless! 
Patience to everybody and speedy approval!

I assume 3/28 is your received date and NOA1 notice date on April? I'm sure March people would love to hear about this too

 

It really seems they worked 3/28 cases on Tuesday. Great news! Looking forward to next week.

California has been handling all I-129F applications since at least the beginning of the year. You mail it to the Texas lockbox which is separate from the the service center and they receive it, assign the number and route it to the service center that handles that type of visa, in the case of the K1 visa, California. 

 

There's been a couple of April approvals on VJ and I know of 2 more from a Facebook group have been reported. Any day now April filers should start getting good news.

Welcome! Don't worry you're not the only once who's anxious lol. But what's great about this group is you will always feel the positive vibes 😊😊 and a lot of helpful people here too so feel free to ask questions. I myself has learned a lot joining this group.

Wow congrats! Seems that USCIS has been doing that surprise mail for quite some time now. So again happy mail box hunting for us😊😊😊

DAY 112 (Day 118 from Received) 

 

Here it is Sunday July 23rd, still waiting for NOA2.  The only thing I can say for certain is that it won't come today.  Doing my best to stay positive.  Not looking at the estimated time any longer as that is just a moving target.  I enjoy everyone's conversations here, it really helps to have people that are going thru the same thing and can relate.  I hope everyone has a great Sunday wherever you are.  This to shall pass and we will be with the ones we love soon.
