i actually expedited my case by requesting it on 15th june but proofs were delievered on 6th of july.On 10th my background check was completed they said.but there is no confirmation about my request of expediting the case

Looks like your expedite is on track. The background investigation is usually the longest lead time and the final step of adjudication.

Nothing but crickets so far this week.  I was really hoping someone in April would get some movement!  We still have 2 days of mail delivery to go, though..  

 

I can't decide if I like informed delivery..  One one hand, finding out by 8:30AM what's coming is great!  But when nothing comes, it kind of puts a downer on the rest of your day..  I think I almost liked finding out at 5-6pm after work better!

DAY 100 (105 since received date)

Nothing in the mail.

 

Of course, I wasn't really expecting anything yet But there's something really provoking in reaching the three digits in the waiting countdown... which is really not a countdown since you don't know when it's going to end.

 

I too have hopes for April NOA2's to start coming next week, though I was also hoping for some already, as they could be last week of March received date cases. Still 2 more chances this week, maybe three for the ones that haven't checked the mail today. So let's keep hoping, waiting and see what happens.

Nothing yet 

 

Trying to stay positive that they will take care of it soon.  I don't recall who said it, but I am beginning to feel the same way about Informed Delivery.  Kind of a double edged sword, if it's there I want to know, but when it isn't it is a big bummer for the rest of the day.  What keeps me going of course is talking to my love every evening before we go to bed.  Also, reading and sharing with all of the wonderful people here on this forum.  

 

@vcpdragon I wanted to tell you that I absolutely loved your story.  It was wonderful to read and see how the two of you got together.  Congrats and I hope your NOA2 comes very soon.  Of course, not before ours 

 

Good Luck to all of us and hope we all get them soon.  Stay positive, but if you are feeling down, remember, those of us here in this forum are here for you.  We will do our best to raise you back up.  It gets really hard missing the ones we love and not being able to be with them.  I do believe that the staff at the USCIS are working hard to get the VISA's done and will get to all of ours as soon as possible, but we all get frustrated at times.  

 

Let's all have a drink when this is all said and done.  Cheers!!

I'm so nervous that I could eat my fingers! My timeline says now that I can expect noa2 between August 1-6 (two weeks!). When the dates changed, mine showed up July 30 - beginning of August. Now it has changed again :/

Sorry, but yes they are getting pushed back.  Some of us have had them change to later dates 3-5 times already.  Stay strong, it will happen, it is just a matter of time.

Indeed! I remember right after NOA1 my estimate window was July 12-19... Now it's July 26-August 2... so yep, it was pushed back two weeks already. As usual... we'll see

My fiance called the USCIS today, he has to make corrections for the termination of his marriage. He talked to a Tier 1 and below was his message to me:

Called hon.  Guy said to send letter to address on the 797 letter explaining error and send the documentation to back that up.   Also said expected decision date based on current backlog is 3.5 more months 😞

I can probably send it tomorrow honey.   Seems we may have a lot of time, at least per the person I speak with.   He said 3.5 months from today when a decision would be made, approve or reject.  That's what I understood.

And 3.5 months is for everyone filing April 20. 

Our case would be same estimated timing as all others submitted on April 20, is generic answer per date filed..    Was first person I speak with so sure was tier 1.

 

With this given information, seems like we will have to wait a little more time.

Do you think the person telling hiim that migt have been basing on USCIS official processing times? I mean, since there it says right now they are working on January 1st, then that person automatically added the 3.5 months that it would require to get to mid April.

 

If that's the case, then we don't need to give it more thought, since we know for a fact they are in March already

In what case will be a good a idea to call the USCIS? 

And is it worth it? I think they say the same to everyone, at this point I bet they are tired of answering the same questions

 

Is there any way to know if we are going to receive any news?
