It's not that we have doubt, it's that we're frustrated. We all know it will happen. I think our emotions are normal considering what we're going through. We need to support each other as we express our excitement and our disappointment. For many of us, this is the only place where we can "talk" to other people who truly understand what we're going through. I don't think it's over the top at all.

Guys, All this talk about money ... I'm busted lmao ... Spain November 2016, Saint Petersburg January, Helsinki Feb, March, April ... Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Losevo June ... Now trying to grab a house, looking at plane tickets, visa fee's ... ughh it's exhausting, BUT ... let me tell you I've had one hell of a time, and we've created a bond that is strong as steel I believe and it is funny how it all happened, really who would of thought that playing a war game would land me helplessly in love with this Russian girl. Chika .. that's what we called her. Oh she was a bad a$$ ... I mean our teams fought like Russians and Americans should, according to all the bull ####### we read growing up, but I reached out to her team lead and we talked and ended up joining our teams into one. Here she came everyday into the chat, the girl just brought the thing to life ... so I was like who is this? Well, a lot of the people used line app to talk so I made me a profile and then I saw her  whoa ... hello. This was about two and a half years ago and I was married so couldn't really do much of nothing, but being a man testing waters because I was in a failing relationship, I tried to talk several times but she just ignored me ... I was deflated ... ego bruised; however, she would talk to me in the game, so we became friends. Fast forward to last summer, actually right about this time ... Chika was an everyday player ... suddenly she is no where to be found. A day went by ... two days ... I'm starting to get concerned, three days .. four days ... I'm asking around by now and no one knows a thing ... five days .. six ... on the seventh day, I am freaking out! So I found one of her friends in Line and I begged and pleaded for an answer ... she says Oh her phone is trashed ...she'll be back soon  ... Geez, I just totally gave myself away ... well sure enough she came back and what do ya know ... my Line notification went off and it was her ! Oh I was so excited lol I didn't know what to say ... so I just started talking ... apparently her friend told her how concerned I was for her and it caught her attention. We talked and talked and kept on talking. Everyday ... I mean everyday we met and spent hours upon hours just getting to know each other ... honestly didn't even have a clue what was going on until one day I said, I would really like to meet you, she said, yeah I want to meet you too. Canary Islands sound good to you? Lets do it she said ... and ya'll, I have never in my life experienced this ... I'm standing in the terminal waiting ... I realized I was in the wrong terminal actually  .. so I took off up the hallway to the right one ... here was the moment of truth ... I was nervous as a tick in a veterinarian clinic ... she comes bouncing out of the terminal ... runs up and just lays one right on me WELL HEY ! lol ... All that nervousness fell away and we just had a grand time and one day I watched this girl walking the beach and I knew she had me ... DONE ... so I left the island and said, I must have her by my side ... January proposed ... visited in Finland Feb, Mar and April and just wrapped up a trip to Russia in June ... next time I see my love will be for the interview or if we just get tire of waiting I will go to Russia.I keep joking around about working in the fish market with her, but she wants to wait it out ... which I can see why, Russia is a beautiful place but it is hard living there, so here we are ..waiting with all of you guys .., and the longest hardest part of the wait is over ... .really I believe it is. I understand the fear of losing your loved one, but you know what, if they can't wait for you through the process then so be it .. better off without them ... but what if they can and what if they are sitting at home every night and thinking the same about you .. is he gonna give up? Chika said she woke up this morning in tears because she dreamed I left, so I asked the question no one wants to ask, Honey, do you ever think I am going to leave? Sometimes she said ... and it just opened an opportunity for a good talk which is what we do best .. communicating ... if there is anything this process has taught me is that communication is what makes it work, and folks, I believe if there was a grade for communicators we're like expert communicators by the time this craps wrapped up. And don't you know, that day we hear approved ... don't you all know that it will be like heavens gates just opened and the saints came a marching home ... my lord I will probably break down as soon as I walk out the embassy lol ... Time for a crawfish boil ... come on honey, We going to Alabama! lol but If my ####### doesn't get approved ... I say to hell with it, I stay in Russia ... get married and get my residency no questions asked .. well except ... why? All joking aside, I shared a little bit of my story with you all because you can't make this up ... there is a reason for everything and only God knows when it is all going to go down, so rest and trust in him ... he hasn't brought us this far to drop us on our heads, and I am sure they are working on April ... it's just no one has received notice yet ... relax folks ... and sorry to write a book ... I just felt like talking tonight. I wish you all well and tonight I will say a prayer for you!

Id quote , but its so long lol. But that's so nice.  I dnt think its a matter of being afraid that your SO gets tired of the process, but it mentally drives you insane. Its like that saying as soon as you know who you want to spend the rest of your life with, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.  

 

I personally don't see why they cannot let us know exactly where they are at. Like the back and forth with the dates, the failure of their notification system, and their automated receptionists (The Famous Tiers)makes we wonder who runs that show.

 

Think the reason we're so bummed is we had high expectations for July approvals. Well I did atleast.

Sadly, I think August is my new July.

Dragon that was a great read. And i agree that we've all learned how to communicate through this process. Also don't blame you a bit for being tempted to just go to her. In fact; my Faye and I have already bought a home in San Pablo Laguna, Philippines and we will be retiring there in another 15 yrs or so. Well she started the purchase 6 months before we met actually. She said she was praying one night and she felt that the Lord was compelling her to "prepare her field for rain, to reap a harvest" so in faith she did. Then in June of 2015 we met on Christian Filipina, and the rest is still being written  God Bless you and your Bride to be!

Oh and just curious; after you fell for her, did you stop shooting at her on your game? haha

I agree, USCIS is not far behind and they will catch.  Historically, this is the slowest time of the year.  Everything will be good and they will catch up.

We're pushing four months of waiting while most have only had three. Seems pretty far behind to me. People have plans and lives that they want to live and this is holding everything up. Why are you surprised by the negativity?

This is what makes me strong everyday! This waiting seems really frustrating and I got sick and was hospitalized due to depression, but whenever my Fiancé says I love you we will be together soon, it will be very very soon – I know he's not gonna give up on us. Our time will come soon. Noa1 was  April17th. 93 days of waiting. We all have a different story, we all deserve to be with our loves ones. Very soon. Maybe not today, it could be tommorow or later. We both are single and no kids and ready to start a life together an build our own little family 😊 i miss him so much! He booked me a ticket to Singapore and I am currently having a vacation here, to see my dad again. (We went here last march and he proposed to me right after he asked for my dad's blessing) hahahaa! I can feel that this will wait will be over soooooon.

I didn't mean to invalidate anyone's feelings of frustration.  Rather I was trying to make the point that it's going well considering.

I'm surprised because we all knew at the beginning what we signed up for.  And all the anger, frustration crying and negativity isn't going to make our petitions move any faster.  Normal processing time from NOA-1 to visa approval is 6-8 months, well within the norm so far.  Plus we still have 2 weeks of July left.  Here is a post I found from the March filers forum:

Hopefully I can lend a little perspective on the issue. 

 

First off, the posted date is a customer service tool. It's supposed to set the customer's expectation of when the service may be rendered. It is only used by customer service. Remember that the adjudicators don't do direct customer service. There is a small HR oriented staff specifically for that, like any medium to large sized company.

 

The customer service people are there to insulate the production staff, in this case the adjudicators, from external influences that can impede their ability to conduct their tasks. How does the timeline affect the adjudicators? The easy answer is it doesn't.

 

Now consider the fact that the USCIS timeline was recently updated to March 15. Who did that impact? Customer Service. And if you're a follower of the VJ February and March filers you would have noticed the immediate reaction of all those filers previously inside the previous normal timeline instantly beginning inquiries into their cases. Remember, this is a government agency. Customer service personnel are kept to a minimum because they are harder to justify. Here is another lit bit of insider info: The managers tend to be very protective over their staff. When they are hit with an avalanche of work there can only be two reactions: increase staff or decrease workload. The managers are going to try to keep their staff from being overwhelmed with work. Moving the timeline does the second and it's a simple and effective choice. 

 

Again, how did this move affect the adjudicators? It didn't.

Very well explained and, of course, this movement in dates only affects those left behid, if so.

 

That was exactly my concern yesterday. Because I've been preparing so much for the worse case scenario, I think I kind of assumed that's what's going to happen So it's frustrating to think people left behind might have it worse than it already is to get some kind of answer or to fight for their cases being touched.

And we all know this is completely random, as I know someone from my country about to hit the 180 days without NOA2 Of course, every case is different, and the fact is we are still on normal processing times, yep, so we have to keep being patient and see what happens.

 

But, you know, even the most rational person can have a breakdown and feel frustrated. Specially when you are the beneficiary and have to play with deadlines that can change all your planning.
