Hi Keith!

Thank you very much for the info! I can empathise with your fiancee completely. :) Although we will probably be over the moon for finally reuniting that sitting at home even won't bother us for a good period of time. All the best on your NOA2!

Thank you and good luck to you.  Although we are planning to do courthouse wedding as soon as possible and then starting the AOS process to get the GC, EAD and AP done so that we can travel and stuff.  You are right about finally being together and not having to do the long distance thing again.  That will be quite a relief.

I think its better to look at diff types of job you'd like to do unless you have a specific job in mind already. But not knowing exactly how the time frame is gonna be might be tough cuz it takes a couple months to get your EAD. I look at different jobs and a lot of them expect you to start right away, I doubt any would wait months for you to get there. So yeah, cross that bridge when you reach it

You are right; I suppose recent hire/grad jobs in say management consulting or finance may be one of the few sectors that would allow you to apply months ahead. Similarly, grad schools would be the same. You must be so excited at this point. Fingers crossed, hope to see your NOA2 announcement soon.

I know I will sound like Polyanna, but remember we could have been at this point 3 decades ago, and can you imagine? No skype, no whatsapp, no fb, NOTHING! I'm very grateful for skype, even if we have to sacrifice sleep a lot due to time difference, I get to see him every day! ^_^ Hang in there, you have a BIG reason to celebrate next week!

idk if you guys have ever heard of the TV show called "90 Day Fiance" from TLC...there are some couples on there that are a joke lol. Its hilarious and funny to watch though.

There's this one couple in particular where a woman in her 40s/50s with kids, petitioned a younger fellow in his 20s, and after three weeks of being in the US, he moved out and started to party and have other "girlfriends" to make the long story short, I think the woman is in the middle of deporting him.

I came across this one show, '90 Days to Wed', just shifting channels in a lazy Saturday... Ended up kind of talking to the TV on how they were giving the wrong information, lol.

They said in the advertisement couples had just met for the first time. Wrong, they can't have a K1 if never met before, but ok, that was just the promo.

One guy had been married three times prior... So I was like 'good, we should be ok'.

One girl lied everyone saying the fiance was there on a student visa. She was studying too, so I wondered how she got to comply to the financial requirements...

Yeah, knowing too much takes away the fun, lol.

But seriously, if they were approved, then we definitely will be too.

Just out of curiosity, randomly bringing this up.

How many photos did you guys supply in the I-129F with you and your fiance together?

If I remember correctly, I think I supplied 10... I remember doing research prior to sending in the application and found that 6-8 was sufficient enough.

Kinda having doubts now that I should have sent more.

I used the VJ recommendation of 5 photos dating from the first night we met in January 2014 to my last visit in January 2017. Along with her I-134 form, I'm sending her 20 photos concentrating more on ones of us together with her family for her interview.

We met in a chatroom before all that lol. We started in the webcam phase , with the lousy cameras. But im glad to have all these other resources with better quality. But im very hopeful , what mostly drives me crazy is the not knowing when.

Thank goodness for all those apps!  If I don't see my love a couple of times a day, I just don't feel right, my day doesn't feel right.  We talk probably 3 hours a day between morning, lunch, and night.  I don''t know exactly what we talk about, but it's always fun!  Keeps my mood up and keeps us focused on the prize ahead.
