I think it was 13 for us total, for 4 different meetings (2+3+4+4) :)

You should be fine, since it's secondary proof, according to them.

Yes, pictures prove to USCIS that you met face-to-face, so really one would do the job (although not suggested to send that few at all).

They really help at the embassy stage for them to see your relationship and other things that you've done, people in their family that you've met, etc.

Nigeria is a high fraud embassy so I knew to front load well.  I probably sent 30-40 pictures!

I think we sent like 6 of us together hugging and smiling together.

I dont know if that is enough but we will see.  I also wrote the dates and places on the pictures to show that it was within the two year timeline.

Just out of curiosity, randomly bringing this up.

How many photos did you guys supply in the I-129F with you and your fiance together?

If I remember correctly, I think I supplied 10... I remember doing research prior to sending in the application and found that 6-8 was sufficient enough.

Kinda having doubts now that I should have sent more.

I think we had around 20 atleast ....3 to a page..

That's true, every case and situation is different. We included pictures with both our families and also his co-workers. A funny thing about our pictures is my hair was super short when we first met, and now is pretty long... So you can see it grow along with the relationship 😊

Hi all!  I'm reading through everyone's comments and I really admire all of the positive attitudes.  I wish I could say I was feeling the same way but I'm not.  Watching the timelines shift day after day doesn't make me feel like I'm one day closer.  As a matter of fact, I feel the exact opposite.  I know it's just an estimate, but it feels like we are running a marathon and we thought we just had one more corner to go around and when we turn that corner, the finish line isn't there.  So we keep running to the net corner and when we get there, the same thing happens.  Now, our Administration just approved an additional 15,000 (yes, 15,000) visas to be issued for temp workers in the US.  Again, I want to be positive, but you can't tell me that that won't affect the process.  It's so frustrating

Girl, that is exactly how I feel...here's hoping that the happy day is SOON.

I'm sorry you are feeling like that :( Know that we understand you here and the way you feel is normal. It's bound to happen, good days and bad days. Just try not to focus in the negative facts... And that coming from a very bitter and negative girl :)

Hello everyone!

@Arnel1509 we have the exact timeline!

I've been reading this thread for awhile now! So I thought I'd say hello, as well! It's been helpful to read about you guys who are on the same boat!

I have a question in mind, and I'd welcome thoughts and advice on this: My fiance suggested that I may soon start looking into jobs and start contacting possible employers. I think it may be a bit of a waste of time at this point! I think we better think about that when we cross several bridges to cross first! What do you think?

Good luck everyone! Hang in there.

You are correct, it is a little soon.  You can not legally work in the US until you have gotten your EAD.  I don't know the exact timeline on it, but it is at least 2-4 month process for it.  My fiance is planning on doing some volunteer work until she can work.  She does not want to just sit at home.

Hi Keith!

Thank you very much for the info! I can empathise with your fiancee completely. :) Although we will probably be over the moon for finally reuniting that sitting at home even won't bother us for a good period of time. All the best on your NOA2!

I think its better to look at diff types of job you'd like to do unless you have a specific job in mind already. But not knowing exactly how the time frame is gonna be might be tough cuz it takes a couple months to get your EAD. I look at different jobs and a lot of them expect you to start right away, I doubt any would wait months for you to get there. So yeah, cross that bridge when you reach it
