Actually he doesn't need a visa as he's from the U.K., but how likely is he to be turned around when coming into the country?

Actually there's been people from the UK from March and May (maybe here too? Sorry, problem with being all over the place is I end up mixing things ) that were visiting not long ago and they said it was ok.

People usually advice to take a copy of NOA1 plus proof of ties to the country, like a letter of employer stating they expect you back at certain date. Most of the time they don't even need that, but better safe than sorry.

EDIT. Actually... I never took a look at it, but there's a thread in the general K1 forum called something like "Yes, you can visit". Sure that should be a good source for info on the topic

Thanks! Problem is he doesn't have a job. He just graduated. And he didn't start working as he knew he was coming here. Can I get the link to the thread please. I'll post in there with more details. He's worried they'll deny him entry and I'm like you'll have scheduled you're interview. They know you'll have to go back for that. Why go through all of this to come in illegally.

I went in May and had no issues at all 😊

I had to go for business reasons to the same city where my fiance live (very convenient)  and had been asked other questions (probably because I have been there often... the officer says the computer send me to the secondary interview room for more questions "sorry, sir"

I have to go again at the end of August.. and expect additional questions but they will let me in. Basically, when go for business they always ask more. They tend to get confused because the branding of my company seems an american company and it is not

Happy Monday everyone!!  It's the beginning of a new week, and hopefully, USCIS personnel are fully recharged and ready for a massively productive week.  Here's to hoping for our first of many April approvals to come!  I'm optimistic that our time is just around the corner.  Have a blessed day

Happy Monday to you and everyone else here.  Looking forward to things moving along as well.  It has been a long road and I, like everyone else want to get to the home stretch.

Just as an FYI (Because we have no control), my estimate dates have moved again, now 7/16 to 7/23.  LOL, It is going to happen when it is going to happen.  I am hopeful for this week, but will take it whenever it gets here.

My dates moved too!

From July 23-28

Then July 24-30

Then 28- Aug 4th

Now Aug 1st- 8th

you guys arent the only ones...i believe EVERYONEs dates changed.

 

If my assumptions are correct, its probably because there are so much march filers...
