Good Morning to All.  Happy Monday.  We are officially at 99 days now, looking forward to getting the notification of the NOA2.  Very hopeful to get it this week.  I am also hoping that all of you get your notification very  very soon.

I hope that everyone had an incredible weekend.  B-)

Good Morning to you and everyone!

Checking this forum and the K1 visa Historical timelines have become my morning routine.

I cant wait to get the NOA2, but for me times show July 28, 2017 and August 1, 2017 still 21 days to go!

Hi, twin timeline :) Well, there are a lot of us with the same estimated, so big family actually.

I'm afraid no movement for March today so far... And actually I'm seeing a lot of enraged people around there right now, even when their estimated might be only four days past  I mean, it's understandable, but I think you really have to get the right mindset an information before getting into this process, because it's so unpredictable... Oh well, good luck to then.

It's just "funny" (it's not really), how February people still waiting are mad at March ones because they have been already approved... While March people are mad because some from January and February are almost with a visa in hand and they are still waiting for NOA2.

I just hope that doesn't happen around here... So let's keep up the patient and positive mood :)

Yeah, it is an emotionally draining process.  The worst part is that now we know we could potentially get it at any time so when we don't it just makes it worse.  Sounds like I'm gonna steer clear of the March forum for a bit....  I like to go catch up with them when there are good things happening  :)

Exactly! That's why I keep telling myself the average is actually 3 to 5 months. So while it might be 3 if I get lucky, I assume is 4 the real count, and try to get mentally ready for a 5 months wait. After that, I would look for answers, maybe via Infopass.

The problem, of course, is how much of an emotional rollercoaster the whole process is, with your life in limbo and being apart from your loved one... So some days are worse than others, but still holding on and trying to keep it that way.

And yeah, March forum is a good one to be around normally, and not only for a heads up in the whole process. I guess the bitterness is bound to rise every now and then everywhere when you start to feel you might be left behind :(

I'm having a kinda worse day today....I think once I see an approval for any of you guys, my spirits will be lifted some. I know August is around the corner, well according to VJ timeline right now, I'm looking at September 1st-7th, but the date fluctuates when people update their timelines. So, either way, I'm just waiting for July to end and for you all to start getting approvals this way it gives me something to look for to.

I'm really missing and needing my fiancé here with me right now! :(

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I hear ya!  Are you going to see him before the interview? I'm heading down there on August 5th for what I'm hoping is my last trip before he moves here.  I love Jamaica so much, as does he, but he is ready to start his new life.  He's always the one that keeps me grounded when I start to get frustrated with the process but I'm slowly starting to hear his frustration coming out as well.

I'm actually going to see him in 3 weeks (July 27th/28th - August 2nd); then for his birthday(September 7th-11th" and then for the interview which I'm thinking should be in late October if things stay on track. But I'm starting to run out of vacation/PTO time. If he had WIFI at his house, then I could work from his house which would help not to use up all of my time. He says he's looking into it but at this point it would kinda be pointless to do. I'm actually praying that the Embassy will let him fly back with me if they see that I'm present at the interview; as long as the medical is there on time. I've read in the JA portal that sometimes they will let them fly back with the USC if the USC is present for the interview; we would just have to go back to the Embassy to pick up his packet and passport/K1 visa; but I'm sure that's wishful thing at this point.

And your fiancé sounds like mine with the keeping me grounded. He has to give me a "reality check" every time I have these "moments", which seem to be coming more frequently; which I think is because we're getting close to our approval month.

I hope that the timing works out for you.  I would love to make it to the interview but I do a lot of travel for work and my fall is really busy so I don't know if I can make it all work.  We'll see!  My fiance doesn't have wifi so we rent an airbnb which of course adds to the cost of every trip but I need to work so it's not really an option.  Hmmm... wondering if I can write off some of these expenses come tax time? ;)

Yes the moments are coming more and more often for me too.  When I start to go off about it, he says "baby it's the system" which is funny because I do the same thing when our whatsapp calls get cut off and his response is the same!
