You didn't ask for a new hardcopy because the first one was lost in the mail or anything, right? I remember someone there had issues with that, but can't recall who it was...

Thank you for posting the picture, but yeah... It doesn't seem to be nothing but a copy of the NOA1. 

Boo to them. If I'd seen a letter coming from USCIS via Informed Delivery, of course I'd have thought that was our NOA2. Finding a copy of NOA1 would be a really bad joke 

So ignore that, I think, and stick to your initial dates.

No problem at all.. I was FLIPPING out last night , because he messaged me like " got our noa" ...and then fell asleep!!!!.... I called him over 20 times on fb,whats app,and skype, and it went in vain.. I woke up excited, and when he sent me that im like...really csc,what the heck is this? Had some serious heart palpitations over nothing

Hi get one of what? NBI clearance is a national data base it does not matter where they live in the Philippines there is only one. The agency is similar to the US FBI. If he lived in another country then he will need to get police clearance from each country. If living in the Philippines then no need for city, barangay, provinicial clearances for K-1. The CERTIFICATE of no marriage (CENOMAR) again this is only issued on the National level by PSA/NSO Statistics. Hope this helps.

OMG, I would be dying too!  You poor thing.  I sure hope that's the last false alarm you, or any other April filers have to deal with.

Um I would be on the phone NOW (The US Citizen) calling USCIS National Customer Service Center 
1-800-375-5283 , you said there is an Alien number? there should not be one at this stage. The other thing is what form is that does it say I-179C version (7/11/2014)

I filed this May and my NOA 1 doesn't look like that. Either they pressed the wrong button and meant to send the NOA 2 or something odd is going on. Let us know what they say.

Yeah its that version, the first NOA1 was the regular. I found it strange that they added it too, as soon as we get word from them I'll post

Yep, I actually meant to say to ignore the new Notice Date as their new NOA1 date  Of course calling is always a good option, though I hope they are not their usual thick this time and can provide a good explanation.

I would suggest calling and asking for a tier 2 officer.   Call before 11am so that you can make sure you get in the queue.

Just curious, and maybe for future reference... Can't you reach a tier 2 officer after 11am? Or it has to do with today being a Friday?

Tier 2 officers usually have a queue.   So you'll call and ask the customer service rep to be transferred to a Tier 2 officer.   They'll transfer you and it gives you a recording that makes you put in your number for a call back and usually the callbacks are anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours.  I suggested calling earlier around 11am because sometimes if the queue is full and they don't think they'll get to your call, they'll just tell you to call back and that they're not taking anymore calls for tier 2 that day.  

 

You can always try though- it's worth a shot!
