Okay, so after navigating around some websites that have been mentioned, and clicking on dead links, I think I found a form letter from the Philippines embassy saying it's okay to schedule an interview. I've attached a screenshot of part of the first page.

So are we saying that all I need is the generic form letter, not one addressed directly to us?

Alt + PrtScreen  screenshot of the CEAC tracker  or pull it up on your phone and screenshot it - email it to your fiancee

SLEC will take it as proof of your immigration visa status

On rare occasions, they will accept the screenshot but not release the records until you get them the letter from NVC (probably in today's mail)  Have your fiance use the screenshot until you get the NVC letter.  Scan it and email it to her so she can take it to SLEC on the day she chooses to do her medical.

Thanks. I already did the screen shot of the "Ready" screen from NVC tracker, but that wasn't enough for the agency.

Ah, okay, so NVC will actually send me something in US mail. And I suppose I can scan that and email to my fiance in the Philippines? And maybe include the form letter from the embassy that others say I need?

Geez, this shouldn't be this difficult. Doesn't make sense for St Lukes to require a form letter that anyone can download.

They don't.  They require a screenshot of the CEAC tracker showing your MNL number and the word READY

On rare ocassions SLEC requires a copy of the NVC letter that says they sent it to MNL embassy.

Your agency is slowing you down, this isn't complicated and you can do this without them, but your choice

Nope. That "form letter" is simply instructions from the embassy. That isn't needed for anything other than to use as a guide to prepare her documents for her interview.

You will receive a letter from NVC in a couple of days with your MNL#. It is this letter or the "Ready" screenshot she will need.

For a secondary source, go to SLEC's website. They have the K-1 document requirements.

Finally done.

Thanks, yeah maybe the agency is playing it safe waiting an extra day or two for me to send the scanned NVC letter. If I don't receive tomorrow we'll just go ahead.

Interesting. I just called NVC and she said the NVC may or may not send me a letter stating they forwarded to the embassy in Manila. Strange. So I asked if they can email the letter to me, and she said she'd put in a request to her supervisor to have it done.

This whole thing is strange. I've heard 5 different things about how things happen and how to proceed and none makes much sense.

Seems like those "rare occasions" just happened to someone whose medical was this week, according to a post responding to mine in the Philippines sub-forum. They let her in to the first day medical solely with the "ready" snapshot, but required the NVC letter on the second day.

Hello everyone, I am a little concerned about the police certificate because I only said it's for USA visa and didn't specify K1, do you think i should change it or it doesn't matter?

Not quite sure what exactly you're saying but if you got your police certificate for a visa, you are fine. They make no specifications about it as long as you got a police certificate that hasnt yet expired you are okay

It's not that big of a deal, the letter shows up in your mail box and you scan it to email to your F.

as far as NVC telling you that they don't always send a letter..... Well, like SLEC asking for the actual NVC letter - just depends on who is working on what day.  I've learned that in immigration matters, there is no standard, you just go with what you have and keep trying.  Any other way is stressful
