Related question for interview stage for Fiance. I sent her the I-134, 3 years IRS documents, recent pay stub from work. My income alone is well above the poverty line. I did fill out the data on my life insurance policy and house as well. Does she need any documentation on the life insurance or house if my income is sufficient alone?

I didn't think to send the other papers mostly because of the income being more than sufficient.

WE'RE NOA2 APPROVED!!!!!

I was getting my shoes on to go to work and I saw a notification pop up on my phone telling me I had an email. I casually looked at it and then saw it was from USCIS. I freaked out and tried to open it right away but my phone was taking forever to load it up. I was just praying it wasn't an RFE and was trying to keep myself from assuming it was an approval. Then, while the email was still trying to open up, a notification from the app popped up at the top of my screen.

'Case Was Approved'

I screamed, shoes literally went flying, and I ran to my computer to get on Skype. We had just finished talking so his face looked confused but then I told him, barely able to believe what I was saying. I remember I kept saying "I can't believe this is real".

I'm just so excited. It's been 150 days on the dot. Thanks to everyone for the support! This is such an unbelievable support system. Now comes the really exciting part!

Congratulations!!!!  :)

There is a question on the i134 which asks about "intent to make specific contributions". To anyone here with an approved visa, what did your form answer for this question?

There's a couple of threads about the topic on VJ. The general consensus (and what we did) is to check the intend box, and then, in the last page of the form for additional information, type "N/A (K1 Visa process for permanent residence)".

I called the consulate yesterday, because my case had been "in transit" from the NVC for over two weeks and I was told by the NVC that they sent it, and the consulate should have received it and that they (the NVC) no longer have any control over it. I was told by the consulate to send an email to some random email address, did so, and was emailed back today, and told I emailed the wrong department and given another email. Before emailing them, I decided to track my case on the NVC website, just to be sure it was still "in transit" and it wasn't, it said "ready." I emailed the consulate asking for an interview date and immediately received an auto reply that  said that the consulate is very busy, and because of an influx in fiance visa applications, they are backed up with interviews, and interviews will be scheduled 3-4 months from the date they were sent from the NVC. This is the consulate in Casablanca, Morocco. Has anyone else received this message? I'm hoping it is the same message they always send, and not a true reflection of when my fiances interview will be. :unsure:

I hope it isn't true and is just a generic email they send to everyone. I will let you know when I found out more.
