All these dates are confusing.  I'm just going with Notice Date, as that is what they seem to go by.  So baste on that, we are at 95 days and counting.  😜

Hopefully, they will take care of April starting next week.  Since you and @Estabaliz are amongst the first, you can be our canaries in the proverbial coal mine.  Just make sure that when it comes, you yell loud enough for me to hear you!!!

I hope someone gets lucky sevens today, even if we won't get to know about it until next week, with a NOA2 arriving in the mail.

I had put all my hopes in the second week of July, but it doesn't seem USCIS is ready to work on April yet at all. I don't like to complain, but I really feel we are waiting longer than other people to see the first approvals

March saw almost a 10% increase of applications over a high volume in February. Unfortunately for us, unless someone was working some extra hours at the CSC, it stands to reason that it would stretch out our wait time. I did receive a bulletin last month that they had moved some of California's workload to Nebraska. Hopefully that will negate the uptick in volume of K1 applications. The last thing I want to think about is having to wait longer than normal for an already drawn out period of time to wait to be with my nusja (bride in Albanian).

I understand the logic behind it. I used those same facts to root for second week when everyone was so waiting for the first of July. What's really bothering me right now is not seeing more movement for March. If I'd seen some for last week of the month, pretty sure I would be much content. But oh well, it's how it works... Just having one of those days 

 

I like how you use Albanian words. My fiance also knows how to say girlfriend/bride (novia) since it's the same word for both. We barely use the word for fiance here (prometida), because for some reason you are perceived as preppy and pretentious if you do. Language is funny sometimes

I'm right there with you on the lack of March notifications. The onesie-twosies that have been trickling in daily is disconcerting at the very least.

 

While my Albanian is limited I continue to learn and use it as much as I can. Her English is much better than my Albanian but she still has a long way to go in learning English. The whole K1 process has been exceptionally challenging for her. She can't understand why it's taking so long. There is one Albanian phrase she wishes that I hadn't learned... nuk e di (I don't know). I use it way too much for questions like "When will you get notification?" and "When will I be there?"

Hi! Good day to everyone! I have a question; My fiance lived in two different areas but in the same province in the Philippines. Does he need to get one from each place or should he just get one since it's in the same province? I'm the USC but a filipina by blood and he is filipino as well. I hope someone who already went through this help lol Thanks in advance! Goodluck to everyone! We're on 86 days from our noa1. Hoping the process goes faster!

Everything I have read has referenced it by country and not by city or territory. I think there's a general assumption that there will be a database search at whichever locality you seek your certificate from which should satisfy the intent of the certificate.

Oh I see. That seems pretty clear. I was just confused because I knew they were strict about where the beneficiaries lived. That makes sense though. Thank you for your answer @lon552. I appreciate it :-)

I got another NOA today (well last night my fiance got it after work) ..but it basically says that they received our petition,which we know, and that it was filed on the "received date" which is the April 11th....anybody ever got something like that?...Im confused? Is my notice date now the 11th? 

 

Also, there's a notice date  ' June 26'...if they sent it out that day then im surprised it took that long to deliver

I'm really confused  Does it state your case was transferred or they updated your name or date of birth or something? Otherwise, I don't know why they would send you another NOA1. Because it's not a NOA2, right? Well, no, because then it would say your case was approved and sent to NVC.

Any chance we can see a picture with personal information blacked out?

I'm really curious what's that about, because never heard of such a thing before...
