So..Days 154 And climbing. Drank a 12 pack of the good ole October Fest Beer over the weekend..with the NFL being stupid, there went my relaxing and trying not to think about the total day count.. So..last week I called and the Tier 2 guy said that they would put in a request to see what my case was up to.. This was on Wednesday. On Friday I looked, it said it was complete.. So I called today to find out what the status was..and NOT to my surprise, they said that my case was still in the allowed processing time and that we should know our case answer with in ( get this..) 45 DAYS!!!  It took all my bitting of my toungue not to tell at the person.. So..as I said at the begining, 154 Days and counting.. It's just seems to amaze me how cases All around me ( case number look up) are being processed, but ours..NOTHING.. BUT hey, other than that...my Steelers lost to the Bears....thank you God for October Fest Beer... :-)

Lately on here they have been 10-14 days once recieved back.

WE'RE NOA2 APPROVED!!!!!

 

I was getting my shoes on to go to work and I saw a notification pop up on my phone telling me I had an email. I casually looked at it and then saw it was from USCIS. I freaked out and tried to open it right away but my phone was taking forever to load it up. I was just praying it wasn't an RFE and was trying to keep myself from assuming it was an approval. Then, while the email was still trying to open up, a notification from the app popped up at the top of my screen. 

 

'Case Was Approved'

 

I screamed, shoes literally went flying, and I ran to my computer to get on Skype. We had just finished talking so his face looked confused but then I told him, barely able to believe what I was saying. I remember I kept saying "I can't believe this is real".

 

I'm just so excited. It's been 150 days on the dot. Thanks to everyone for the support! This is such an unbelievable support system. Now comes the really exciting part!

Congratulations!!!  What a great feeling isn't it!  Now we have to cheer on those still waiting.

Mike, read through there timeline, it was 164 days until interview visa approved. They were one of the very fast cases. So jealous of that at the moment. I don't think I will get the NOA2 until 165-170 right now.

I've received email and texts notifications throughout the process so I guess I've been lucky in that sense! However because of that, my hopes weren't high. I spoke to a tier 2 who asked me a ton of questions before saying the magic words... you've been approved! Approval was last Friday, 14 days from the received date and 170 days from original received date.
