@Estibaliz, I am very happy for you and Gary.  As @KeriAn and I were saying, this forum would not be the same without you.  You are what has made it great.  Everyone here would say the same thing.

Do you know when you might be flying to the US?

Monica is going to be giving her 30 day notice at work in the next few days, she needs to find out more info on when last paycheck is and all that.  We want to make sure that she gets all the money she is supposed to.  We have the DS-160 pretty much done, but the picture.  I tried to use one that I had, but it did not like the background.  She is going to get some taken this weekend that we can use.  Then she will pay the Visa fee and we will get her Medical scheduled and of course the Interview.  So looking forward to her and I finally being together forever. B-)

Sorry, I was trying to catch up on everything happening around here.

Also limiting my use of the phone because I still have a bit of a long day ahead :P

Everything went fine. Visa Approved. I'll write a review tomorrow maybe, but I have to say they know your case and what they are asking even if it seems routine for them. The interview was easy, but the CO did ask if Gary had been married before, what happened (seriously), if she was a US citizen (because she's not) and if she had ever lived in the US (no).

Awesome!

One day closer...  Yeah, Tuyen's last day is 9/30.  We have started the DS-160 already, and I just used the scanned photos that we used for our 129f.  Seems as though it likes it so far LOL.  Hopefully, you get your NVC # and get moving on.

Dear April peeps,

Our case arrived at the embassy yesterday and on the NVC website it said Ready..

I went ahead and submitted our DS160 and emailed the embassy. Another K1 Peruvian filer told me it might take a couple days for them to respond to the email.

I hope they respond!!

I'm sorry for keep messaging on here but I'm just anxiety ridden today :(

so regarding the 129f affidavit of support, as my partner won't be able to sponsor me as he doesn't meet the threshold. His dad as said he would so do I just send in that one?

His mom as also offered but she lives in a different state would it be best if I had both of them down just so they know if needed I have ample of support? Thanks again!

Congratulations to everyone getting noa2s

My POE is going to be October 20th in Dallas Fort Worth, if everything goes according to plan. That gives me a whole month to get my Visa on hand, so I should be fine.

Yes, I do have the tickets already. Yes, I did buy them before visa on hand or even the approval. Yes, I know we are not supposed to do so, but I took the risk, knowing I might have to change them if it doesn't work.

So Gary is coming October 8th and then we'll fly home together the 20th. Poor Jaime is staying at the pet hotel for those two weeks. First thing we are doing the 21st is going to pick him and take him home. Happy family reunited

Hey in time for Halloween and the rest of the holiday fun at least. Sounds like you two have a nice plan. Please don't hurt yourself skiing this winter in Utah.

You need to send in two i-134 in either case, one for your partner and one for his dad. Also, the co-sponsor does not need to live in the same state as the two of you. Having said that, you can only have one person other than your partner as a sponsor. And do not worry about having over and beyond the threshold. You partner's dad (if he will be your sponsor) just needs to have enough to meet the threshold for his household and the two of you. Once the threshold is met, going over and beyond wont mean much.
